Erm, I voted this too (placed it 6th). Is there a calculation error, or did you just forget to mention me?

BTW you could also say more about 'what's not so special'.

Hurt:

I love the emotion in this video and the dramatical part (after hearing her father is dead and where she is running away from the tent ). I love the whole circus theme, especially the elephant scene. It's not a simple and cheap video, you can see that there is much effort in this one.

Candyman:

Fun, dancing, 3-Christinas and the hot airport scene. Need I say more? :P

Hurt is my fave from the B2B era.

WOOOOOOO Bjork- recently voted number two alltime video on MTV! Cinematic beauty!

Hurt is lovely- Xtina's face in it is awesome.

It's My Life is a great vid- Gwen's best i think. Fatboy Slim is great fun! Foos too. Jamiroquai is highly acclaimed but over-rated IMO. The way it was filmed is impressive- all about perspective- but it's still just the Prat in the Hat dancing- *yawn*. Radiohead- never really liked it- don't like the cheap animation. G n R is just over the top crapness- great song though! Eminem fun- Pink fun.

20. Christina Aguilera - Dirrty (99 points)
Image
wikipedia.org:
The song's music video was directed by David LaChapelle. It depicts what was described as "a post-apocalyptic orgy".[18] The video opens with Aguilera gearing up and riding a motorcycle into a nightclub. Wearing a bikini and chaps, she is lowered from a cage into a boxing ring and dances, accompanied by several back-up dancers. A masked woman is lowered into the ring, and the two engage in foxy boxing. The scene is intercut with sequences of Aguilera dancing in a crop top, which she later removes to reveal a bikini top, and a microskirt. Redman then proceeds down a hallway, passing people such as mud wrestlers, a contortionist, and furries. The video proceeds to a scene of Aguilera and back-up dancers splashing and dancing while being sprayed with water in a room containing several urinals, as a possible reference to urolagnia.[19] Christina also does a male masturbation motion in one scene

19. Robbie Williams - Rock DJ (100 points)
Image
wikipedia.org:
The music video, directed by Vaughan Arnell, was surrounded by controversy because of its explicit content. The video begins with Williams dancing on a roller disco with girls skating around him. He wants to get the attention of the female DJ standing above the stage, so he begins stripping off his clothes. After this does not get her attention, he starts stripping his flesh, muscles and organs, too, until the only thing that is left from him are his bones. In the end, he achieves the DJ's attention and dances with her as a skeleton. The video ends with titles, reading "No Robbies were Harmed During the Making of this Video".

Like the top 20 layout! Xtina's butt and crotch- that's all u need! LaChapelle knows how to make sexy visuals and it helps when you have such a willing, red hot subject as Aggy! Whole essays have been written on this video- and her in general. It's not just about tits and ass you know! http://www.fims.uwo.ca/mit/mediations/p ... Dirrty.pdf

Robbie's best vid- obviously!

Aye - love the layout!

The mighty "Virtual Insanity" and "Learn To Fly" should have been higher!

As for "Dirrty" and "Rock DJ", sorry but I can't stand either video! First is filth, second is rather gruesome!

48. Mariah Carey - Honey
41. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder On The Dance Floor
38. Blur - Coffee And TV
37. TLC - Waterfalls
27. Bjork - All Is Full Of Love
26. Fatboy Slim - Weapon Of Choice

Strictly for videos and not songs. I have to say that I think that Sophie's one should be quite a deal higher

18. Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal (102 points)
Image
wikipedia.org:
Jeffrey Daniel of legendary soul music group, Shalamar choreographed the "Smooth Criminal" video. Currently there are four different versions of the video for "Smooth Criminal":

* The Original Moonwalker Version - This is the version included in the Moonwalker film - while technically the whole short film is 39 minutes the actual "Smooth Criminal" song segment is approx. 10 minutes. It includes a middle section of interpretive dance with the dancers among other changes.
* The "Moonwalker Version" - This version is included on History on Film, Volume II and is the song section of the "Smooth Criminal" segment from the film Moonwalker. It is essentially the same, however it has some minor changes including: different opening music and no dialogue, the middle section with the dancers chanting has been truncated (some of the chanting has been shortened) and ends at the point in the original where Michael exits the club with an added shot of one of the flappers fanning herself.
* The Sped Up/Moonwalker Credits Version - This is commonly shown on music video stations, appears during the end credits for Moonwalker and was included on the "Visionary" single. It is essentially the "Smooth Criminal" video sped up, with an added blur effect, and some alternate angles. This version is also the version being sold in the iTunes Music Store
* The Album Version - Also shown on some music video stations - it is the regular version of the video edited to be in sync with the original album version of the song. It excludes the added lyric, the middle section along with various other moments. However, commonly the Sped Up/Moonwalker Credits version is used rather than this version.

17. Christina Aguilera - Beautiful (103 points)
Image
wikipedia.org:
The video opens with Aguilera speaking the line "Don't look at me", followed by scenes of her singing alone in a room intercut with self image-related sequences of other people, several of which deal with body image. An underweight girl examines herself in a mirror, eventually punching through it; a thin boy stands lifting weights in a room plastered with images of bodybuilders; and a girl rips out pages of women's magazines and throws them into a fire. In one sequence, a girl is bullied by several peers, and in another, a goth sits at the back of a bus while several people get up and move. The video also touches on LGBT issues. One scene features a gay couple, portrayed by Jordan Shannon and Justin Croft, kissing on a bench and ignoring the stares of people who pass them.[7] Another scene shows a travesti, played by Robert Sherman, putting on makeup, a wig, and women's clothing.
