I heard this song on an episode of "She Spies", and I cant find the name of it, its driving me insane. Its a very chilled-out R&B ballad, with soulful and powerful female vocal. Sounds like something Keisha White would sing, but with a much stronger voice.
The lyrics include:
here i am again...i've leveridged all of my fairytales...a legacy for the better (verse, ugh cant remember)
(was it) was enough, it was tough enough, i paid my dues, i did my time for you
(was it) was enough, it was tough enough, second time, the spirit breaks too (chorus)
...guarantee, stealing from my own charity...
you'd think that one fine day, i would get things right, that i can face another day, if i can make it through tonight (verse-bridge)
(was it) was enough, it was tough enough, i paid my dues, i did my time for you
(was it) was enough, it was tough enough, second time, wouldnt abide to you, second time the spirit breaks too (chorus)
I'd appreciate ANY help. Its driving me crazy.
