Left Handed Musicians

Well it's come to my attention that there a couple of lefties on here. I am one of the biggest lefties u r ever likely to meet, I mean I use the bloody mouse for the computer with my left hand. I've also noted in another thread that my rock buddy John is also left-handed, that right Lazy? Why do I attract lefties? - my 2 best friends are lefties as well by total coincidence.

Anyway - who are the best left handed musicians past or present?

Jimi Hendrix would have to be one right (sorry for the pun)? He used to use his guitar with the strings upside down to cater for his leftieness.

Paul McCartney, he was as well. Part of the greatest band in history. There had to be a leftie amongst those geniuses.

Kurt Cobain - another rockin leftie. Nirvana went off and unfortunately Kurt went off as well.

The Everly Brothers were as well I think...?

the guy in doves... he plays a normal right handed strung bass guitar upside down!!!

I certainly am.

I believe Joe Perry from Aerosmith is left handed. But he plays right handed, so it's hard to tell.

I know that 3 members of Rancid are left handed as well. I know Matt (the incredible bassist) is, but I can't remember which one isn't.

Umm...time to investigate further.

Oh yes...

Mando (the current bassist in The Breeders) is a leftie as well.

And as Manicfan pointed out, Jimi Goodwin is too.

Oy Muzik, no they're not! My ex crush is a leftie (ok, so maybe he might be a child of the devil :lol:

that hasn't been proven - yet!) and I have a friend who is a leftie (and she's definitely not a child of the devil!)....I'm sure I have other friends who are lefties too, but I haven't really noticed to tell you the truth....but I suppose righties do have a longer life span (apparently :-?

I heard from someone once that righties have a longer life spam....go figure)...
