have you heard it yet??? ive heard it a few times already, becuase i happen to have a brother who thinks linkin park are better than anything ever before

what do you think? it sounds like a mixture of hybrid theory sytle linkin park and lowgold.....

number 1 single in a few weeks time?? my brother seems to think it... and me, i would not dismiss it off the plate, top 5 for certain but number 1's a bit optimistic

yup, of course i've heard it. it was released to US radio on Monday, finally! i was kinda tired of listening to the small clips of it.

It's a catchy song, i'm looking forward to seeing the video. It's suppposedly going to be shown on Saturday here :D

oh, in case anyone else wants to listen

This song's alright, better than some of the other Linkin Park songs I've heard. I think it's got a good shot at being #1.

Its an alright song - but I prefer some of their older stuff. :\
is the shade of the night
the piercing sounds you make
soaring higher, higher now
and once left in my wake
your memory is nothing but the scars on me.

Ah, I was wondering if anyone was gonna bother posting this.

Just heard it for the second time, and not surprisingly, I think it's fantastic.

I can't tell whether I've listened to it yet or not - I've listened to My December disguised as this song, a song that Chester did for a soundtrack and something else that could be it, but probably isn't....I suppose I should try and download it again...and with luck, I'm now downloading it....will give opinion later!

Heard it for the first time tonight actually and I've got to say it didn't grab me very much. Usually Linkin Park tracks hit me instantly but this one didn't. That's not to say it's bad.

:-?

I'm confused. I'll get back to ya.

Ok I've finally heard it as well (after downloading an interview done 50,000 times over and disguised as the new song too - as Finch says in American Pie, "God bless the internet" ) and after giving it 2 listens, it's a good enough song and it'll probably grow on me, but at the moment I'm confused as well (this probably doesn't help when you're listening to Shakira in Spanish, trying to remember something else)...

Yeh Linkin Park songs seem to grow on me as well so I'll see if it happens with this song. I heard it again tonight and I liked it more than when I made my original post so I think I'm guna like it now (wish I would make up my mind). Like so many LP songs, I like the verse more than the chorus.

yeah same here. 'i wanna heal, i wanna feel...' it's a bit too poppy. lol, i still love it. But i definitely prefer listening to Mike on the verses.

I dont think this song is up to their usual high stnadard stuff. Still a good track but not as good as the tracks that came off their fourth album eg. In the End and Crawling

Me likes it! :D

I didn't like Linkin Park's music before... apart from the brilliant "In The End"

But this one is quite good

I downloaded it and played it, which is weird as I don't like such type of music that much

Fourth album?! :o You mean first?! LOL

I saw the video yesterday and it's OK. The song's startin to grow on me! Will have to get the album when it's released over here.

And yes, I too like the verses better than the choruses usually.

I LOVE THEM!

They're first album was brilliant, although I wouldn't have chosen to release Points Of Authority, instead 'A Place For My Head' or 'With You' but it obviously worked well as it managed number 9.

I could rant about them all day, and I swear, I Could!

I've loved them ever since I heard Crawling on TOTP, and rushed out to get thier album, and have copied it so many times I hav 9 copies hidden around my house somewhere!

Somewhere I Belong is brilliant, sorta Hip Hop Dance Metal, which I think is brilliant, as I Love Hip Hop, Love Dance, and some elements of Metal.

Chester is an amazing singer, and Mike is so good at rapping, but I prefer Chesters Verses on Crawling, and Mike would be better doing a leetle rhyme, like on Points...

Told Ya I Could Go On All Day :)

I think...if they'd have released the mind-numbigly excellent album version of 'Points Of Authority' rather than the violently mutilated remix, it would have been an even bigger hit than that.

God I hate that remix. As much as I love LP, I refuse to buy that remix album.

I Do Have the Remix album, I got it for £4.99 :)

Its alright, the In The End remix is cool, it has added vocals and rap and stuff, but other than that, its not very good, not worth £12.99, even if it has 20 tracks on.
