The b-sides on Tamaki's single are better IMO.

I just discovered that Ayumi Hamasaki will release her new album in January 2008. The album will include 15 songs with also the new digital-only single "Together When..." which will come out on December 7.

I think May J's debut album is quite awful TBH. Don't like it that much. But A.I.'s Don't Stop A.I. is seriously the best J-pop release this year so far!! :o Definitely better than Tenjochjiki's Graceful 4 - although this was hard to top.

Man I have tons of albums to add in now!

Okui Masami: God Speed - 9.5
S-mode #2 - 9.3
Masami Life - 9.0

Morning Musume: First Time - 8.7
Second Morning - 8.3
3rd LOVE paradise - 7.0
4th Ikimasshoi! - 4.5

Abe Nasumi (solo morning musume member): Hitoribocchi - 8.0

Namie Amuro: GENIUS 2000 - 8.5

Tenjo Chiki: Graceful 4 - 8.5

Kuraki Mai: Delicious Way - 8.5
Perfect Crime - 8.0
Fairy Tale - ~9.0 (Haven't got into this album enough but already have some tracks I'm in love with)

Albums in red means there are some really amazing tracks that should be downloaded but also many fillers that lead to only good/decent grade.

That looks SO sophisticated!! :o But I don't think it will be a big burner to be honest... Ai no Uta & FREAKY were good, but I felt that LAST ANGEL was lacking something. Overall I think that Kuu's albums aren't that appealing. Much prefer Ayumi.

I really love But and Freaky (I even have both singles) so I'm really looking foward to this album. Even more than Ayumi's one I think.

I love Koda Kumi but the problem is that she releases album FAR too quickly. They're very rushed

I don't like how Japanese artists bring out their albums in general. They release a thousand singles before actually an album comes out. That means the fans just get a couple new tracks which are probably not even better than the singles and that's it.

I think when it comes to quality album tracks, Hikaru Utada delivers every time. She's not just a pure singles artist. You can hear her album tracks as well which are mostly just as good as the single releases. Ayumi used to be like that as well. And her singles on "Secret" were even worse than the album content itself.

I've got a new album!! My first album from NAMIE AMURO! :D It's her 2007 release PLAY and it contains her the quite famous tunes Violet Sauce, Hide & Seek and TOP SECRET (Official Japanese Theme Song Of "Prison Break" Season 2). Overall I think Namie Amuro is definitely one of the more memorable J-Pop artists as she does sound quite American! Her vocals reflect pretty much the American R&B scene. She just sings Japanese and that's why she is probably so different from standard R&B songstresses.

My favourite tracks from PLAY are Step With It, Should I Love Him? and It's All About You - all of them are non single tracks. Proves that Namie is consistant throughout an album. 8-) Cool! I'll try to get more from her.

I've put my hands on The Queen of Hip-Pop & STYLE now. I wonder which record is better. I've heard that C. "Tricky" Stewart (produced "Umbrella") worked on TQoHP while Dallas Austin put his hands on some STYLE tracks.

I never listened to Style that much as Queen Of Hippop. Although I really love the song "Come" it reminds me of Love Regrets by Sifow 8-)

I must give them both a try. Since I've finally found some access to PLAY. I'm confident that the rest will work out as well.

At the moment I'm SO in love with this album:

I love Namie Amuro (I mean hello, who's my avatar for the past couple of months? :D) but I've been too worried to listen to her most recent work. If you listen to a song from her back in 1995 and any song from Play, her voice has changed dramatially. I'm wondering if that's what led to her decline in popularity. It's great that she's coming back again! :)
