^Not exactly true, but the Scots should have gone over in the last 5 minutes. I really wanted them to win.

Another brilliant day of rugby. When Fiji scored 2 back-to-back tries to level the game with the Boks in the earlier game, I thought we may have another upset on our hands...

There would be a certain symmetry, indeed, if the last game of the tournament was a re-run of the opening game....

Though naturally Argentina would HAVE to win again...

:P well done England the boot of Wilkinson again helps them get into the final, how cool is that guy under pressure? He is a champion. Hope Argentina can get into the final but South Africa will be hard to beat.

I hope South Africa win today in a way, purely so that England can have a good shot at exacting revenge for their 36-0 defeat first time around.

Who knows what will happen now?? I'm sure most people wrote England off after the drubbing by South Africa - what an amazing turnaround!!!

I think South Africa will score 4 tries today,England have shown great will in this World Cup,but i take South Africa to win 34-19

Cheers Cidermaster

PS Argentina finished Third last night destroying France,if they do not get let into one of the 2 big yearly tournements, then it is a total disgrace!

Perhaps it should become the 4 Nations, rather than Tri-Nations in our neck of the woods....they've proven that they've got the goods to match it with bigger teams, why not let them into our little comp?

Anyway, apologies to all the English ppl around here, but I for one am damn glad that South Africa won, I couldn't stand anymore bleating from you lot about winning

South Africa were the better team on the night, and have been the better team all competition. I think it was fair that England did a bit better than the 36-0 of the group stage though.

:P well done to the Rainbow Nation. Congratulations for winning the Rugby World Cup. Now if only we can get teams to play attacking running rugby all would be good.

Like the Aussies have never bragged about winning in sport before...

Too bad there were no tries (I still think that English try should have been awarded). Not a classic game but a great spectacle! Well done to the Boks.

Well New Zealand held the first World Cup way back in 1987 and won suprizingly their only World Cup.

Surely they will make it 2 World Cup wins, but hey 2011 is quite along way off, time for Scotland to sort themselves out!!
