I wonder what is the lowest charting single in recent years to make A=List?

One thing that really annoys me about Radio 1 recently is the fact that they segway into nearly every bloody song with their signature radio jingle.

It was a bit funny when they did it with Pendulum, but now it's getting ridiculous.

Mainly after the news or a advert, right before they play a song, they incorporate a 4 beat DE-DE-DE-DEEEE tacklessly onto the beginning of the record.
Most annoying before Pink's So What and Iglu & Hartly's In This City.

DUH! I got that part, but what's a playlist? Here in the US, we just have a bunch of songs constantly added to a radio's playlist and they get played forever. No matter how old. Depending on how popular they were. The older songs aren't played as often as newer ones, but you can still hear them. And it's usually just one playlist, not A, B, and C, which I assume means popularity.

The playlist consists of songs that Radio 1 plays during the day. A-list songs have the most rotation, B-list have less, etc...
Some stations have older songs on rotation, Radio 1 playlists only recent songs that are about to be released. They usually start low and climb their way up depending on the popularity of the song, or the artist involved.
