Not sure....

*Wikipedias Chappell-Hadlee Trophy*

NZ won it in 2006-2007 (3-0 - Mike Hussey was captaining then, I remember the furore over Ricky Ponting sitting out that series), but we won it back in 2007-2008 (2-0 - the Sydney match was washed out), so currently we hold it. We've won it twice, NZ won it once and the first ever series was a tie funnily enough (one of the matches was washed out).

God bless Wikipedia! 8-)

The final match has been delayed by rain up in Brisbane - won't be surprised if it gets washed out. If that's the case, I think we retain the trophy since we won last time.

Thank God for the rain, otherwise we would've lost yet another series methinks. The Kiwis would've deserved the trophy though, we played terrible again (I turned off when James Hopes got out and I only caught bits and pieces afterwards) and they were smacking us around the park.

Won the 20/20 match by 1 run....luckily the weather held out in Sydney for the match, I was fearing it would rain. I didn't watch much of it cos I was glued to So You Think You Can Dance instead.

:P Wasn't the greatest game of 20/20 I have seen but the Voges catch was pretty special at a vital time.

:P Test match is being played between the Aussies and South Africa in Jo-burg and so far it has been a wonderful match with a big woot to West Australian Marcus North with a century on debut. 8-)

I of course have been following it and yes, a big yay to Marcus North for rescuing our innings, haha! Big ups to Mitchell Johnson too, if only he hadn't have run out of partners...he's becoming more and more like an all-rounder!

Nice to see SA have capitulated at the start of their innings too, but I've got a feeling a few of their batsmen will bounce back today and get them back on top, unless we stop them.

Bloody hell...I hope we can bowl SA out, otherwise it'll be another world record they're taking from us. Bastards!

Well luckily for me I don't have to hurl things at the TV for the next Test, we beat SA by about 160 odd runs, hoo-rah! :D Still got the numero uno Test ranking. Now let's kick their butts in Durban!

:P Great all round effort by the boys and man of the match went to WA boy our new all rounder Mitchell Johnson :D
:o :( shocking news coming out of Pakistan with the Sri Lankan team being attacked and shot. No country will go there now.

I think Andrew McDonald should get dropped for the next Test - aside from taking 1 or 2 wickets, he did bugger all with the bat. Bryce McGain should come in...and yeah, we've finally found an all-rounder methinks!

The news about the Sri Lankan team is shocking...absolutely don't blame any cricket team for not wanting to go to Pakistan now, the situation is so volatile. Don't blame SL for calling off the tour either, that's an obvious thing to do.

I think Pakistan should get the same treatment as Zimbabwe

no one should go there

India is risky too - but money talks!

2nd Test between Australia and South Africa is progressing well with the Aussies so far doing very well. Mitch Johnson is turning into a demon bowler. :P I must say it is good having a test match between two good sides with bowlers doing well much better than the rubbish being played at the moment between the West Indies and England.

I'd like to think that we've got this all but stitched up, but previous occasions are causing me to think otherwise...so I'm not going to underestimate SA at all.

Yeah Mr Johnson is turning into one handy weapon for us....aside from scoring runs and nabbing wickets, he breaks another one of Graeme Smith's fingers, hehe. Oh and congrats to Mr Hughes and Mr Katich on their first innings centuries too, especially Mr Hughes. What a way to bring it up, 2 sixes in a row.

Too right Shell young Hughes is very exciting just as well him and Kato played so well on the first day because everyone except another youngster Dumny have found the pitch a handful.

A lead of 506, can't go wrong with that. Mind you, they've beaten us before when we've thought we had it in the bag....but you've kinda got to count SA out now right? Especially if we bat on until lunch today...let Mr Hughes make 150 or more methinks.

Well, Mr Hughes made 160, we declared with a 545 run lead and now SA have about 300 runs left to make. I'm fearing they could do it if we don't reel them in. We've got 2 wickets already, but I've got this horrible feeling they could win.

:P It all worked out in the end Shell another Aussie victory all round team effort by the boys. 8-) Special mention to Mr Hughes for his fearless batting and see Mr Ponting what happens when you let Kato bowl a bit 3 for 45 to clean up the tail and bamboozle a few top order batsmen.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I sat up and watched it, but I missed seeing the final wicket cos I watched something else briefly - did see it again upon replay. SO happy we won, go Kato! Well done to our boys, I think there'll be many a sore head when they wake up this morning, I can imagine that a lot of drinking and partying went down after the victory last night!

Amazing how we've pulled together as a unit after the series loss in Australia....I think SA have let it all go to their head a bit and with the added pressure of backing up on home turf, its been their downfall. Now lets make it 4-2 in this series of 6 Tests (3 in Oz, 3 in SA) in Cape Town!

A series whitewash isn't looking so good right now. By all accounts we played terribly in our first innings, getting to all out for 209.
