To be honest,i just have the first two months of 1994 compiled here, but i would be very intressed in your info about the 1998-2004 charts you've made allready.cavefan wrote:Hello Francis,
Great project you have started there! I must admit I had the idea of doing the same a while ago but it takes so much time that I gave up after compiling a few weeks![]()
I don't know how much you have compiled already but I nevertheless want to inform you that I have compiled Top 40's for the period from August 1998 until January 2004, based on the system used by SR1 before, also with the official charts of the 11 countries. So, if that's ok for you, I could post that period when we reach that point. Hopefully I'll have more time then than now... From the beginning of 2004 on, due to lack of interest (and time) I stopped with compiling.
A few remarks about the national charts: for Italy, I guess you used the ones on www.hitparadeitalia.it, which are a mix of Musica & Dischi and other sources. I have all of the M&D charts for the period 1994-98 as a Word document. I could pm it to you, if you're interested in maybe using them for the Europarade.
For Denmark, I have much of the official charts (which of course are slightly different to the airplay charts used above), but unfortunately only written-down top 10's for 1994, and for April 1996 until August 1998 (the point where I started to have access to internet and compile the Europarade). I do have top 20's for whole 1995 and early 1996 on computer. Again, I could pm you those already. For the other weeks, I guess that CZB may have more complete charts (i.e. top 20's) for most of the period, maybe he could help too? Of course, you can also continue to use the P3 Tjeklisten, I don't know how far you compiled already...

GB1 means 1 point for the 15th place
IRL11 means 11 points for the 5th place
12 is the total of points i've added to make the chart, but normally i don't posted that.
Seventeen weeks already, without yet straying beyond Spain - we could be looking at our first major long-runner of this period here?francisplaiy wrote: 05/06 MARCH 1994
