Yes for our win, and you for beating Villa, three points clear in 4th now, a great turnaround!

I too hope Newcastle go down!
How very sportsmanly... to be fair - I like Arsenal so I hope you get 4th too.

I'd love to see Newcastle go down... with Sunderland... haha not a good time to be a Geordie!

Liverpool will go and win the title now,it reminds me of the 97/98 season when Arsenal caught Man U from nowhere aswell, then and just like now the pressure is on the leaders and the chasing team will win win win.

Cheers Cidermaster

PS If Man U had beaten Fulham i would not be predicting this, but in many seasons there is a turning point.

If and when Liverpool beat Fulham tomorrow they will go top,and for the first time this season and Man U will be under big pressure, very big pressure,if Villa hold them then the title is heading one way!

There certainly is Cider, & hopefully that turning point was yesterday in the 93rd minute at OLD TRAFFORD when Macheda scored a stunning goal, in a match where UNITED looked out of sorts for long periods, but managed to take a massive 3 points when most bindippers must have thought we were going to drop 2, still a long way to go, & United, slimeypool, & chelski will probably drop more points between now & the end of the season, but hopefully that strike will have gone a long way to restoring confidence at OT.

Liverpool look set to go out the Champions League, and that should give them the title, for Man U look very tired and if they did edge past Porto,a big if and with the FA Cup aswell they will burn out.

Cheers Cidermaster

PS I think deep down in the last 2 weeks Liverpool just want that Premier League title, mentally they know they have a real chance, while Man U are going for 3,that is ultra tireing.

United have had a lucky week, last minute goals, Porto's major defensive error... Liverpool would have REALLY been on the front foot if Villa had have pulled out a draw. Positive note we are now six points clear of Villa - CL is OURS!

Yeah I agree cider... we can concentrate on the league. Hopefully losing to Chelsea will give us the kick up the arse we need.

I think Liverpool will stuff Blackburn tomorrow and Sunderland will take something from their Man U clash.

United are suffering from fatigue in my opinion. The players have been jet setting across the world not only for their respected countries but also for the club. They travelled all the way to Japan just to win the FIFA World Club competition.

This season our youngsters Evans, Fabio & Rafael da Silva, Macheda, Welbeck and Ecekerly have stepped up while the Sr. players look inconsistent.

A big boost for Liverpool,Man U are still in the Champions League and are getting very tired.

If Liverpool beat Arsenal in their next home game, the title is theirs!!

How many straws do you want to clutch at throughout the season Cider? since when has being knocked out of a major tournament been a boost for a team, if anything United will have recieved a boost by going to porto and getting a result, and HOPEFULLY, that will give them the confidence they need to go on and succeed, note I said HOPEFULLY, Cider, I for one never go around making such bold statements as we will go on & win, I've noticed over the years how football has a nasty habit of making people look very foolish when making such statements, BTW I'm sure the mighty RANGERS WILL win the SPL though, as celtic are looking very tired & ordinary!!!!!

I kinda want Liverpool to beat us and take the title... fourth is secure IMO, we aren't challenging for anything else. Play the kids, Wenger!
