I would estimate her sales something like this.

Baby One More Time.. - 24,000,000
Oops I Did It Again - 20,000,000
Britney - 11,000,000
In The Zone - 7,500,000
Greatest Hits: My Prerogative - 6 million
B in The Mix :The Remixes - 500k
Blackout - 2 million
Circus - 3.2 million

= 74,200,000

With singles and DVD's prob. around 115 million. :D

Oops I Did It Again:

US: 10.000.000
Canada: 500.000
Europe: 4.500.000
Brazil+Mexico+Argentina: 500.000
Australia: 210.000+
Japan: 300.000

Over 16.000.000 shipped.

maybe + other countries would bring the total to 16.000.000+0.5-0.6 million=16.600.000 (according to certifications only)

These are myestimations of her two best selling albums. But I do believe that they are higher.

Baby one more time has sold way more in Europe, more like 5,5 million-6 million so it's total sales are closer to 23 million

Oops I did it again is also higher in Europe and i would estimate shippments of about 18 million (maximum).

Billboard has said that she will release new songs this winter. This could be either a new album or a Circus re-release.

SEEKING SPEARS' SALES

Hi Gary,

I've been trying to find up-to-date sales figures for Britney Spears' albums, and you're the only source I could find that might be able to help. Could you please provide sales data of her albums?

Thanks!

Mark Smith
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Hi Mark,

Should Britney Spears' "Radar" debut on the Mainstream Top 40 radio airplay chart next week, which looks likely based on the format's building chart, Spears will take sole ownership of most entries on the tally this decade. She's currently tied with Nelly, each with 20 charted titles in that span.

As we wait to confirm that feat, here is a look at the hefty sales figures of Spears' charted albums on the Billboard 200, according to Nielsen SoundScan:

10,534,000, "...Baby One More Time," 1999 (No. 1, six weeks)
9,184,000, "Oops!...I Did It Again," 2000 (No. 1, one week)
4,336,000, "Britney," 2001 (No. 1, one week)
2,970,000, "In the Zone," 2003 (No. 1, one week)
1,575,000, "Circus," 2008 (No. 1, one week)
1,347,000, "Greatest Hits: My Prerogative," 2004 (No. 4)
967,000, "Blackout," 2007 (No. 2)
100,000, "B in the Mix: The Remixes," 2005 (No. 134)
Ask Billboard, July 10, 2009

BMG music service wasn't tracked by Nielsen soundscan so to get more accurate numbers you have to add those numbers from that service.

Baby one more time = 1,600,000
Oops...I did it again = 1,210,000
Britney = 588,000
In the zone = 400,000

That gives these numbers:

Baby one more time = 12,134,000
Oops...I did it again = 10,394,000
Britney = 4,924,000
In the zone = 3,370,000

Greatest hits has passed 1,363,000, Blackout is at 972,000, Circus has passed 1,615,000 and single collection has sold +83,000 copies to date.
