Those Asian sales figures are not confirmed or at all accurate, and therefore shouldn't be posted here.

+ "VH1 Divas Live" was #39 and stood on the chart for 10 weeks. i also remember that "The Remixes" was #103

btw, Mariah-Charts.com is a very reliable source, i've been following that one since 2002 and the guy that manages the site only collects official info, not counting what he has for Brasil of course wich i contributed myself with some info and now i'm ashamed of it cuz i really don't believe that anymore
Thanks!
Tell me please, where did you get the peak position for Merry Christmas? I couldn't find it anywhere (not even on Mariah-Charts.com).
there's no database to research german album peaks on the net, i got this from a huge excel file that Enno Habben sent me in 2007 with the peak, weeks on chart and weeks on the Top 10 for all albums that have ever charted in Germany

These are the peaks from Mariahdaily.com. I hope they are ok.

And album Mariah Carey was never certified in France. I'm 100% sure.

are you sure about these Gui? cuz i have always seen the ones i posted, and they seem reliable. on the other hand, i have never seen a database or french charts earlier than 1996 :( same goes for certifications, the earliest ones i know for any artist are from 1994

about "Mariah Carey", i have read on many websites through the years that it's sales are over 100k (Gold level), wich doesn't seem that hard to believe, specially considering that even "Emotions" sold over 100k and that one didn't had any single charted in France while MC had 2 Top 40 hits

Is there any chance to get all her official certifications in Japan? MTV Unplugged can be gold and be undercertified.
there's no place to research Japanese certifications too. actually, the best we've got is what's posted here on UKMix by people like Mario and an official list (made by Mario i believe) of the albums certified Million in history

On the official site #1's is gold only.
it seems a typo, just like in Switzerland with CB - there's a Gold certification in 1998 and other one in 1999, the second certification should be Platinum

These are wrong. Here are the certifications posted by Nelson some time ago:
Mariah Carey - 2x Platinum 140,000
Emotions - Platinum 70,000
MTV Unplugged - Platinum 70,000
Music Box - 11x Platinum 770,000
yeah, i knew that Nelson had posted somewhere different certs, thanks! tough, like i said, her sales are closer to what i posted than to what she's certified for

Yes sure Vag, there is all album chart runs on Infodisc website from 1984 to now. Doesn't mean her debut hasn't sold 100k yet - It was only a top 50 back at the time.

There was until very recently a website with all German runs too, Charts Surfer, but due to Copyright issue all German info have been deleted.

Vag, RIAJ certified million sellers are avalaible and updated frequently in this link: http://www18.ocn.ne.jp/~hbr/jp1mal_e.htm

Recent certs are on Oricon website but they don't go very far back on time.

In 1999 certs in Netherlands were still 50/100k.

CANADA

Greatest Hits 27
Charmbracelet 30
The Remixes DNC (#18 on the R&B Chart)
The Ballads DNC

It's Like That 38
We Belong Together 2
Shake It Off 15
Don't Forget About Us 17

Singles peaks are for the Airplay Chart

in Canada, Videos are certified for 5k, not 50K

"Rainbow" is over 300k according to Canoe ( http://jam.canoe.ca/Music/Artists/C/Car ... 43780.html ) so it's under-certified, same goes for Butterfly (possibly 4x) and Merry Christmas/MTV (both 2x at least)

"Glitter" sold 34,000 according to Soundscan in Canada (9,500 on the first week), but i can't find the link now

oh, and just for the record - i wasn't getting the info i posted from MariahDaily, it's all from official sources on the net or from my personal files like i explained earlier, wich saddly contains some erros and missing info now since i lost the correct version of them

i'll correct the wrong infos in my posts now and see if i can build a few more things ;)

really? i always read that they changed in 1996! nice! so the G40 P80 levels are since 2000?

and thanks for the Million-Sellers link, i only had that one saved in my computer and therefore, not updated

can you also send me the link to search certifications on the Oricon website? i went over the website but i could never find a searchable database

seems i really need to update my thread of certification levels

On Mariah-Charts.com, it says that "Butterfly" was certified Platinum in Brazil and 4 x Platinum in Canada. Are either of those correct?

BFly is not certified in Brasil, tough it should be at least Gold. In Canada it's only 2x Platinum but it's under-certified, dunno if it should be 3x or 4x, tough i have seen the 400k figure quite a few times

about Brasil there, all his figures were sent by me, but most of them are completely nonse. in 2004 i was... let's say... naive  a good friend of mine sent to me those figures and he said he got them from Latin Billboard, together with some older singles peaks. he even sent me a website that contained a Brazilian chart and he said it was from Billboard Latin, but i never found evidence that it was truly from Billboard, neither the single's peaks or the sales and now, judging by ABPD certifications and the codes printed on CD's since 2003, those numbers look very exagerated, wich doesn't take the fact that the real numbers are way higher than what's shown by ABPD + the codes

There was until very recently a website with all German runs too, Charts Surfer, but due to Copyright issue all German info have been deleted.

BFly is not certified in Brasil, tough it should be at least Gold. In Canada it's only 2x Platinum but it's under-certified, dunno if it should be 3x or 4x, tough i have seen the 400k figure quite a few times
What's the level for Gold in Brazil? What did "Butterfly" ship in North America and South America?
