I normally don't watch this but the interests about this sport in Poland has grown a lot since ROBERT KUBICA is among the best Formula 1 drivers.

Last Sunday he had a very dangeroues looking crash during the Canadian GP in Montreal

He had a big luck cause he is ok with nearly no injuries

and he's going to start in next weekend's GP!

The FIA are wanting to eventually have the safety of F1 cars put into normal cars. I hope they do, how many people would survive crashing into a wall at 180mph in a normal car. (not that any one should drive at that speed tho)

So we are going to all be driving around in fire proof vests soon? :lol:

I aint watched F1 in years, because it is very boring, however I sat down to watch the start of the Canadian GP and couldn’t take me eyes off it as it was such a great race, had everything, including a decent crash and a British winner.

However I wont bother to watch it next time as im sure it will go back to been the same old boring F1, no over taking rubbish.

Touring cars and small single seater racing however is still great to watch. F3 has 34 cars on the track all with inexperienced drivers, carnage is the only word :lol:

Last weekend Robert Kubica was first in GP of Canada

and last year he almost killed himself during the same race

Just watched qualifying for Singapore - what a really unusual type of race - night racing!

An interesting question, in case there's any F1 geeks out there...

When was the last time that four consecutive grid places were held by drivers of the same nationality? The lower half of the top 10 is virtually all German!

I'll be watching Sunday!! Thankfully the daft new rule where the driver with the most wins is the champion has been put back a year

Gives them a year to make Bernie Ecclestone realise what an idiotic idea it is but I doubt he'll change his mind

This year is potentially a great one - virtually anyone has got a chance (apart from McLaren it seems) - I think Webber or Vettel could be champion by the year end

Button is doing amazing so far

Hes on pole for tomorrow. Hope I'm not speaking too soon before tomorrows race and he will do well. I remember David and Victoria Beckham were on the starting line with him at the 2007 UK F1 (before the race started that is!). And he seems to be good friends with Dannii Minogue aswell. I wonder are Honda sorry they pulled out now? And Toyota are doing fantastic too. Such big changes in the rankings so far this year.

Hamilton isn't doing too good atm - Button is in for such a great season this year. I wouldn't be surprised if Hamilton used the loophole in his contract to move teams after this season.

Does Hamilton have a loophole in his contract?

I can't see Kimi staying too much longer at Ferrari or in F1 so there may be a seat there. However I have heard already that Alonso is the driver of choice for Ferrari.

Exciting race in China today. The results are so much different this year. Ferari, McLaren and BMW are doing so bad. I'm glad Button is doing so well, hes a nice guy.

The only loophole is if his car isn't 'up to scratch' then he can move - I know there was a dispute a few weeks ago about some sort of component (I have no idea what), and not sure how it turned out, but since the new rules on the car itself, it seems that Lewis is at a disadvantage.

I'm loving this season of F1 though - it's nice to see such a dramatic change in the quality of the teams and Jenson's doing amazing and he comes across as a really nice person as well (as opposed to Lewis).

Adrian Newey did a stunning job - again! He designed championship winning cars for Mclaren and Williams before..now he is up there with RedBull

he is an aerodynamic genius whose car is driven by talented youngster Vettel! Hurray for a championship battle

Hamilton on pole ... again. Hopefully he can do quite well. I would like to see Jenson bounce back too, he hasn't performed that well for the last couple of races.
