It's hard explaining that kind of grief to people without pets, because they really are a member of your family and you miss them as much as if it was a human.
I think it's really painful because you feel so responsible for them.. you're all they have!

Nope, I struggle there. And then cry at Supernanny. :-?
So do I, although I cried going into and out of my granddad's funeral service last year...just didn't cry throughout the service. I did cry though at another funeral I went to a few years back, but only cos they played Amazing Grace and something about that song stirs me. That and The Last Post on ANZAC Day get me almost every time.

Last time I cried was yesterday...it'd been building since the day before. All due to frustration with myself and my over-anxious mind. Before that I cried a little when I had the flu last month, just cos I felt like absolute s***.

My dog died earlier in the year (damn cancer). I empathise greatly with you!
Was he/she old?

I agree, cos my cat died at the beginning of 2006, and I'm still getting over it 4 years later! :(

And I know it's silly after all the serious things people are crying over, but yesterday my Mum was dissing one of my favourite wrestlers and she said such mean things she made me cry  It's silly, but it got to me, she was so... mean.

I usually cry when I'm really touched by something sweet or happy. For some reason, sad things don't really make me cry. I must be used to depressing things by now... :P

When I found out that the packaging used to hold the signed photograph Mariah had sent me earlier this year had completely disintegrated in the rain and resulted in my mother having to rip part of the photo in order to get it out.

We were both devastated.

Hopefully that was aimed at aPod, and not at me. Cos I'm allowed to cry if I get a migraine! They suck!

Ugh, they really do. It really helps to take an Advil or a Tylenol. The really powerful ones will make it feel like someone is massaging your head.
