A-Trak producing Madonna’s comeback album''

You would find weird describing a new Madonna record as a "comeback album", unless you're Parisian hip hop and electro producer DJ Mehdi.

"I can’t wait to see N*Sync and the Backstreet Boys getting back together. Oh, and A-Trak producing Madonna’s comeback album," Mehdi told Dummy magazine's Adam Saville who asked him what he was excited about music-wise for the new decade.

DJ Mehdi is the second French producer rumoured to be involved in Madonna's first music release under the Live Nation contract. The 32 year old joins David Guetta who, as reported one month ago, told Digital Spy:

"I would love to work with Madonna. It will probably happen very soon actually. It's all in the early stages and I'm not allowed to speak about it yet."

Madonna finally seems like Madonna again. She has lost the British accent, the talentless British husband, lives in New York City, and is actually smiling again. She looks like she has gained some badly needed weight as well. Madonna is about to start recording her new album. David Guetta (Black Eyed Peas) has bragged about working on some of the tracks. The only other confirmed producer is Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen). We are far more excited about Brendan O'Brien than David Guetta. It's a perfect time for Madonna to start working on a new album. Recent albums from fellow divas Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey have failed to live up to any hype.

Since we're probably never going to get a new 'Ray Of Light' album, a mix of 'Confessions' and 'Celebration' (the song) would be fine for me.

Revolver is the right sound for her IMO

Please no duets with either Britney or GaGa! Or Beyoncé for that matter.

I hope she'll work with Mirwais and William Orbit again. Great producers!

Yes... 8-)
Since "Ray of Light" she has been releasing a studio album every 2 1/2 years.

3/98 - "Ray of Light"
9/00 - "Music"
4/03 - "American Life"
11/05 - "Confessions on a Dance Floor"
4/08 - "Hard Candy"

Next album in October, maybe November 2010? :D

I wish for this new era everithing but Hip-Hop and all that stuff that suit for Usa radios!

BTW I'm even more courios this time than everytime else, maybe because it's her first work with the Live Nation, she 'd better do: (IMO)

1) Choose the right single (at least 4)
2) Make classy video
3) Good Promo ( Not useless radio interview or mini-show for few fans)
4) Start a big Tour!

Will it happen?

After seeing Gaga live last night, I can say all popstars will have to step it up. Madonna needs to make music videos again that actually take a bit of effort.

i would sacrifice my life for some powerful ballad aka "Something To Remember" era with moder sound and urban sound  8-) i love Madonna's slow ballads because it's not hysterical fight for the highest vocal, it's simple but breathtaking.
Can't wait for a new effort.
Hope the album will get november release, PLENTY OF PROMOTION and MASSIVE SUCCESS :P
