Secondly, plenty of artists rush albums, and it didn't stop nor hurt their career.

Lastly, this is Lady Gaga we're talking about. Don't act as if most people aren't tired of her already. Her taking time off won't change the opinions of people who already think negatively of her. Honestly, the nerve of some of you.

I can't wait for a new album. All her material has been quality so far so I will be pleased to buy her next album. I wish she'd release Retro Physical on something though, maybe a soundtrack or something. That song sounds amazing.

I don't get it. She has said she is going to tour as much as she did for "The Fame" for "The Fame: Monster". She also said she will release several singles off the Monster.

There is still time to do all of that. Remember, Beyonce released 8 singles within a year, so she can do whatever she'd like as there is time left.

I'm hoping that GaGa will release her new album in 2011; it's too early right now to thinking about an album.

"Bad Romance" is starting to slow down and "Telephone" is starting to reach its peak (bring out the music video already!!)

Why is it too early?
It will probably not be until November/December, and might not even be until early 2011.
She seems to be inspired when she's on tour, travelling the world, so this is probably the best time for her to be thinking about/working on a new album.
I think a new album within a year/year and a half would be a wise move.

"Telephone" has not peaked. The video still has to come out, and then radio stations will start playing it. My local radio stations, are still playing BR, and it is #3 on iTunes. I don't know what you are talking about.

she releases SOOO many amazing tunes (lets face it most artists struggle to get as many hits as she's had in such a short space of time) im SO excited to see what direction she will take.

I hope she keeps the upbeat bangy feel, but experiments with different vibes. Her music is all quite samey (thats not an insult but even a fan can see she has a 'vein' of music)....so maybe experiment in bhangra, or stripped back electro, or 70s rock, or heavy hip hop. EXCITING!

What have you go against repetition when - judging by your avatar and sig - your a fan of Mariah and Britney. Nothing against the two but the two artists I'd pick guilty of sounding the same over the space of 10 years.

Love me some Gaga, but I do hope she tries some new styles on her next record. thats probably why she is releasing a third album. The previous two will be more similar to each other. That said I like her so much and dont want to see people tire of her, she needs to be around for a long time.

My point exactly. However she will have sucess if she changed her sound completely but Monster doesn't indicate that though which scares me

Those photos are EPIC.

As for Gaga overworking her voice I doubt that will happen. Although Gaga can sing keep in mind most of her material isn't really vocally challenging.

I'm sure she would have no problems as far as "ruining" her voice even though she's singing live on this world tour.
