I'm really glad she is working with Jermaine again, fans seem to give him a ruff time, but Mariah and him make great music.

2 flops in a row = a break since she has made that much of an impact. You guys are musics freaks but the world isn't so essentially she has been on a break.

Thank God they're back together. Their last collaboration was "100%" and it (sadly) didn't make the album.

Hopefully she works with a handful of producers this time around and takes A LOT of time to put this out. I believe she started recording so soon to take advantage of her current voice. You know with it being in great shape after the tour. Like she did with TEOM after the CB tour

I've decided i'm going to keep all my expectations very very low for this era. While i am excited because its Mariah i am not going to get so hyped and then be really disapointed. I want her to have a smash again but she has really got to bring it this time. I don't want a We Belong Together part 1000000000000! I want new Mariah. Thats my only reservation about her working with jermaine again.

No, no new producers! Thats what got her in the dumps in the first place! JD and her have chemistry. They just need to make good music! And dont repeat WBT. The media will go wild!

the problem is not 'new producers' the problem is with 'lame producers'

I'm so tired of her now. I'm sure this will be another mediocre release.
She should just work with some new producers, I agree.
J.R. Rotem can produce something cool and contemporary like "Better In Time" or "Defeated".
Get Brian Kennedy in because I love him! He can produce some amazing pop crossover ballads and even more uptempo stuff.
Get her in the studio with Darkchild, keep B.Cox and Jermaine for a couple of tracks.
She has potential...but she's stuck on that very slow train when there are bullet trains these days.

This album has to be on fire! Something so hot and fresh. Not stale. Not 90's. It must showcase the VOICE (if there is a voice to showcase) and it must have huge singleworthy material, not like e=mc2 which had a lot of potential singles, this album must have huge potential smashes. Nothing tame or laid back. Nothing safe. She has to stretch herself like she did on TEOM and Butterfly and make classic mariah songs but make them current. Memoirs was stale.
