The Prophet reports that Auberella's on the comeback trail....

For a while it seemed that Aubrey O’Day’s post-Danity Kane reality show was never going to happen, but now, more than a year and a half after the breakup of her infamous girl group, Aubrey has announced plans to return to television screens with her own show on the Oxygen network.

Officially titled, “The Aubrey O’Day Project“, the show will reportedly “chronicle her attempt to make a comeback in the music industry while working with a demanding team of industry professionals.”

Oxygen isn’t exactly the biggest network out there, but it is home to the hideously amazing Bad Girls Club, as well as Tori Spelling’s reality show (which I’ve never seen but am secretly dying to watch).

“Young women have watched the ups and downs of Aubrey through the years, and they continue to cheer her on,” said Amy Introcaso-Davis, senior vp original programming and development at Oxygen. “We’re excited to deliver her story as she battles the issues that resonate with our audience, from self-doubt and body image to an intense desire for success and redemption.” {source}

No air date has been given at this time.

Just when I was wondering what was up in the world of Aubrey some news, however slight, turns up.
Apparently she may be signed to Atlantic.
If it's true then I'm glad a major label has faith in her talent as well as her ample boobsicles.
Where's Wolves ?

I NEED information. I love Aubrey. She was my favorite from the DK girls and I can't wait for the show and her album. With the right material and promo she could achieve great success! :wink:

I just hope she tones down the image slightly because she has the talent but people just see those two huge headlights and assume she's trashy.
Don't get me wrong I love me some Aubs sexy photo shoots but I'd like to see her diversify her image a little.

I agree with this. There's nothing wrong with aubrey as she is now but a slight image change could do wonders for her. Also I want her to stop with the loads of make up. Without makeup she's much prettier than with loads of makeup so I imagine her looking amazingly with just a bit of makeup :wink:

But damn Aubrey.... give us some info about the show/album!!! Or Wolves...

Yeh Noah her fans don't really have a problem with her look but I think she's appeal to the general public a little more if she toned down the sex.
She's got so much going for her but all alot of people see is boobs, blonde hair and sexy photo shoots.
We NEED some info!!!

Wow I've been waiting for this for so long. I hope she can build some hype. Can't wait for the reality show either. Let's hope Aubrey will bring out musically with her debut album and that she will smash! 8-)

Yeh Noahh I was on The Prophet and saw people chatting about her playing some songs on Ustream and that they were pretty awesome.
Soooooo anticipating some/any news on this project.
I even went as far as youtubing some DK performances to watch her magic

I still watch DK performances all the time.

So sad they broke up, they were my favorite girlgroup and they had so much potential of breaking through internationally. Though, after all it's maybe a good think they've broken up. Their management was f*cked up and they had Diddy 'using' them. They were not happy with the situation. But yeah... it's sad. They were soooo talented.

I hope someone recorded the songs Aubrey played on the Ustream session. I'm dying to hear what she created in the studio. She has the potential to be really big IF she's got the right material, promo etc.

Her and Mr.Shropshire have some incredible material. I know for sure she didn't play what could be the single at this point but Adonis said he sing the hook of "Hitchhiker" and he said they played some of "Physical", "No Boundaries", and "Automatic". He said you all were asking for a ballad and she's got them.

Wolves is SUCH a tease!
Drops these little tid bits and then scrams, lol.
So the t.v show is still the works as well as plugging away in the studio. Looks like Aubrella has been busy while she's been out of the public eye.
Hurry up though, we want you back!!!

You will find out so much during the show about who she's worked with,her sound, and if there is a label

and who it's with. Just know that she has two of my good friends in her corner! She's shooting for 3 months Sept-Nov and then production is OVER. The album is coming along great. She's another one who really loves her fans so very much.

Hopefully the show will do for her what Fantasia and Monica's did for them although she's in a slightly different position coming from MTB and being fired from DK. The public need to get to know the Aubrey behind the "image" and this show is a good way of going about it.
She seems really sweet so hopefully that translates.

More proof that my theory about the DK break up was ALL about Diddy and Dawn is right.
I love Aubrey's reaction "she doesn't message people back" then the hair goes over her mouth so she doesn't say any more, ha ha ha.
So great to see Andrea and Aubrey together again. Obviously the girls are still in contact with Shannon and from what I understand Aubs is still close to D.Woods so who's the ONLY missing piece of the DK puzzle huh ?
Shady D belongs in a group called Dirty Money!
Pitty that the 4 other girls can't reform DK but by the sounds everyone's working on music so that's a plus.
"Ego Trips" sounds like it's going to be quite interesting to say the least....

Ahhhh!!!
The longer Ustream chat is the one with previews of "Hitchhiker", "Physical", the instrumental of "Ego Trips" and they all sound pretty damn hot.
Love that Aubs said that they were going for a "Janet Jackson" vibe on certain tracks. She's also working with Gil (J's choreographer) which has got me REEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAALLLLLY excited for what's to come!!!
Don't leave us hanging for too long Aubs!

I'm looking forward to this album, wasn't really a massive fan of DK but their second album was fantastic and all of the girls were talented. Shame Diddy ruined it. Hope the Ego Trip song is about him!

I know right?! I've always said it wasn't Aubrey's or D. Woods' fault. I've always said it was Dawn and Diddy... Dirty Money was proof #1 and this is really proof #2. And Aubrey said many times she's still talking with everyone EXCEPT FOR Dawn. I think nobody is still talking to her. So sad DK broke up, but hey... they're better off without Dawn and most of all Diddy :wink:
