There is a song about heroin addiction which sounds like an Alicia Keys song and she is deciding whether to include a cover of The Cure's "Love Song" or INXS's "Never Tear Us Apart"
“The songs are not clever or trying to be what’s in at the moment,” she explains. “They’re the opposite: I just wanted to write good, proper songs. A Carole King vibe, not a Lady GaGa vibe.”
