I believe it is less of a problem than alcohol. It is very helpful in many medical conditions such as Cancer and Glaucoma and stress related problems.I think it should be legalized. It will also cut down on the problem of drug dealers selling it.It can be taxed thus supplying CT with more income.

It's proved that a long abuse of MJ can create addiction plus shake up your nervous system. Plus my mind is my business so I can't put it at a risk

Not really sure on this one to be honest, I haven't seen proof that it causes more substantial harm than nicotine or alcohol,
Only tried it a couple of times myself, got told off by my friend for talking too much and not passing it on

It's not half as damaging as alcohol or cigarettes, and any side effects only come from prolonged heavy use. That means smoking everyday over the period of about 10 years.

People who vote against marijuana are usually very ill-informed. You've got to know what you're talking about before you say "no".

This is a wonderful substance that makes you relaxed and happy, cases of violence under marijuana usage is very rare, unlike alcohol. I find it highly hypocritical that alcohol is sold freely while marijuana is banned in many territories.

I'm all for legalizing of it!

K2 is legal in the U.S., but Mary Jane isn't..?

What's wrong with that picture? K2 has scarier side effects. It messes with you psychologically.?

It does get addictive and causes mood changes, personality changes and aggressiveness (while you're not on it). I do not have any proper scientific knowledge on the subject I saw it on my friends though. Then again you can never tell for sure who takes what because many people would take a zillion stuff and claim it's only marijuana.

Of course, it's organic!

But it should be taken in moderation just like anything else we take.

The chances of getting addicited to it are relatively slim - you'd have to smoke a hell of a lot to get to that point. Reading some of the research, it seems a lot less dangerous than alcohol, so why not?

I've smoked it for years, not massively, but moderately, and it's done me no harm. Moderation is key. The Netherlands have it right! Oh Amsterdam how I miss you! :(

Exactly! I've been on it for a year now but no more than 4 a month. It does amazing stuff to my level of creativity.

I think it does, like many other drugs (alcohol included), different things to different people. It's not for everyone but I do think people should be freely allowed to choose whether or not it's something they want to try.

Alot of people may experience the giggles and the munchies, or a bursts of creativity. However, some people do get other effects - I've known plenty of people over the years who stay clear of it due to paranoia or the fact it simply makes them feel ill.

Saying that, it's amazing how many 1st class essays I've written whilst baked

Marijuana doesn't have much of an effect on me really, it chills people out if anything. I think alcohol is probably worse.

Legalise Marijuana but criminalise Alcohol & Tobacco. Those last two drugs kill more people each year than any other drug put together.

Only tried it once, don't know if I'd bother again as a) it hardly had any effect on me cos I was already drunk and b) I don't like smoking. I'd have plenty of the cake though!
