I wish they'd quit this "6 hours earlier" stuff, it distracts from the fire which deserves a few episodes to itself.

I had the TV on mute in the background yesterday during the E4 episode and was really surprised to see Warren's character in the last scene. :o

I haven't watched a single episode of this show in two years so could someone please tell me how they explained him surviving the fire at the Loft? Seemed so completely random to bring him back after all this time.

Might not seem high but that's brilliant for Hollyoaks!

I recall that 'About You Now (acoustic)' entered the top 100 after Max died and the single re-entered the top 40 a week.

This isn't the end apparently...
spoilers.

Fridays episode will show one more flashback of Steph hearing Gilly shout her and trying to get out of fire for him but getting trapped.

Aww it was so sad when Steph said she was ready to die and walked into the fire. Hopefully the smoke killed her otherwise burning alive would no better than dying of cancer? Darren, Frankie and Cheryl's reactions were well done.

I thought more characters could've been involved in the fire and more stunts done, the whole climbing out of the window thing with Amber and Finn was a bit boring - they should've had her fall from the roof and end up in a coma where they discover she's pregnant.

Last nights episode was truly heartbreaking  Steph was one of my favourite characters. Very very sad indeed.

Oh sorry now I understand :D

Bit confused, I watched yesterday's E4 episode which would be today's C4 episode which was the one where Cheryl found out Steph had died and then today's E4 episode had the synopsis about Steph in the fire yet none of that featured and it was mainly about Ste and Brendan - did I miss one? :-?

no i think because of the whole 6 hours earlier thing a few scenes were repeated and they didn't really know what order things were happening so the write up was wrong...i watched it too and i wanna know what connection theresa has with warren?

Yeah what does he mean by someone else seeing... seeing what? It's all very cryptic at the moment, not keen on this style of story-telling.

The Warren flashback episode was actually really good, a bit far fetched but a suitable explanation for another body being found and how he escaped. The reactions (apart from Carmel) of the villagers when he walked in the Dog was unrealistic though, they were far too laid back about seeing a dead man walking.

This show is just too unbelievable now. Easily the worst of the big four.

You're right - I had high hopes for Marquis but he's sensationalising it to the hilt. It feels like it needs to calm down and start focusing more on characters than spontaneous new families and instant big storylines, I mean within weeks they'd had Jacqui Dixon steal a baby and now she's involved in the teenage pregnancy storyline and we've barely even had time to get to know that family.

So has Brendan now left the show?

:o It's lovable George from Drop The Dead Donkey! Noooooo!!!! Ruined my memory of him forever!

So now we have THREE bad guys jostling for power? Darren Day's character is OK, but Brendan is useless.

I still can't get over the serial killer being the guy who played loveable George in Drop The Dead Donkey. :o He is a great actor, though.

I would rather he killed off all of his family - don't like any of them. Offing Nancy would be good - never liked her. And Jasmine/Jason is very irritating.

Poor India, felt so sorry for her! Can't believe her killer is Heidi's dad!

I love Nancy somehow though she is annoying she's extremely beautiful, her and Darren are like the stalwarts of the show now Steph has gone.

Yep Jasmine/Jason is crap, I can't believe how stupid they think we are to suggest that nobody in the village recognises her just because she's strolling round in a hoodie with cropped hair

Hollyoaks is so all over the place at the moment - the Sharpe family have all been axed without even really having an exit. The scenes where they moved out of the O'Connor flat were their last. Not bothered as I didn't really warm to them especially Amber, glad we don't have to endure her baby drama. So is Tony still with Gabby or will they just never be mentioned again?
