Kelis "The Puppeteer" to "Kelis Was Here".
I love both, but I've never really gotten over her not using the former...

I'm pretty sure BEP's The E.N.D was originally going to be titled From Roots To Fruits or something like that...

I've noticed that a lot of albums change name to "Flop" when being discussed on here.

I don't think this one counts because it was never confirmed, but I remember reading in a lot of sites that Xtina's next album would be called Light & Darkness and it was going to be a double-album again... hence, the name.

Madonna: Hollywood => American Life (I remember buzz for the Hollywood title in late 2002 when Die Another Day was fresh)

Mariah Carey: Lollipop => The Emancipation Of Mimi (not sure if it was the working title for TEOM but I remember in 2004 there was buzz that Lollipop would be the title to her next album and people were making fun of it... nobody laughed when TEOM put her back on top though)

Madonna's Hard Candy:

1st Candy Shop
2nd Give It 2 Me (that's why we got those boxing themed pics)
3rd Hard Candy (with those rushed photoshoots edited from the previous title!)

20 Years Old just sounds silly! I love 20 Y.O., and I wrote an essay at college last year about "Me and my music" or something and called it "17 Y.O."

My teacher was like "What is this?"

I remember that Jennifer Lopez's album 'J-Lo' was originally going to be called 'Passionate Journey', and in fact she even says in the album thank you's about joining her on her "most passionate journey to date".

And Atomic Kitten's debut 'Right Now' was originally to be called 'The Good, The Bad and The Kitten'.

I thought that leaked in like... early '08? I dunno but I used to be addicted to it.. listened to it 30 times a day lol. And then I got so sick of it that I deleted it off of my itunes. then I couldn't find the mixed CD where I took it from so I couldn't put it back on... I missed it :( Luckily, I found that CD yesterday so... yay! Back on my ipod. 8-)
