I've seen her yesterday at the belgian cd release party of Kat Deluna's new album "Inside Out". I was going to ask more about the new releases, but i was to late and she had already left ...

hopefully will will get something fresh, but I am happy she stays pop/dance ... I was little afraid when she said she is going to to something different.

some parts sounded even too autotuned ... :-?

but i think they remove most of it, she never used that much before ...

i really liked about two songs there, don't remember the names.

She managed to turn meaningful songs in crappy dance hits...btw, she wouldn't have a career if she had never released those 2 covers, which she could never top BTW :lol:

I wouldn't know Mylene if it hadn't been for Kate...so hopefully Mylene and France Gall are happy and appreciative that Kate's captivating dance mixes brought attention and a resurgence to their tired careers. A lot of her original songs TOP her covers imo. I'm happy to see Kate taking a new approach to her music and going a new direction. 2N's work with Kate on Free was amazing and really helped to renew people's interest in Kate, now is the time for her to capitalize and FINALLY take the full direction she wants and show us what she's got. I'm diggin her new stuff, but hope they do edit out a lot of the autotune, as I think her real vocals will help make this album shine...Can't wait!!!!

3) lot of people know Kate, she is not as big as she used to be but still people know her - since she has never been big in Portugal, there might be the problem
4) check you posts before "sumbit", sometimes there is hate you don't seem to know about + look at the end of point 3

Why is the album topic here? It's already been confirmed by Kate Ryan herself, not to mention it's taking away activity from the nearly dead dance forum... Anyway, really digging a few of the previews, especially Madness. Hope it's the lead single

we can make album topic when we have the album tittle, there are lot of info about the album (she's posting a lot on facebook) but no tittle yet ...

why does everybody goes crazy about Madness, it seems like those songs she flopped with, she needs club anthem ...

Mylene has a disgusting voice I hate it. I can't stand her tone. That's why Kate's covers are better IMO. I'm not hating on Mylene, I simly hate her voice. Listening to her singing in like torture for me

That's because your in a country where music which isn't from the USA arrives years later unless is french and latino euro trash.
I recall listening to Kate's "Only If I" in 2004, and "Ella Ella L'a" 2 years ago...
C'mon nobody young knows Mylene Farmer in Portugal , Kate they still know , and it wasn't 10 years ago, cos she didn't even released a single at that time !
I know lots of people who know Kate and she stopped the covers and french so she'll get her own credit !
Not to remind she has won a World Music Award!
