She's reportedly signed to Simon's Syco label.

Will.I.Am tweeted today...
The day after the last xfactor...cher loyd and I went in the studio and made a mega smasher.
I would like her to stick to the R&B/hip-hop genre with a few pop ballads.
Something like Jessica Mauboys - Get 'Em Girls album would be really good.

I want to her to work with Will.I.Am, Labrinth, Fraser T Smith, Alex Da Kid and Brian Kennedy mainly. :D
Maybe a hot Bangladesh production too!

I'm looking forward to hearing her material more than any of the other contestant. Shame I don't really like her as a person but I'll get over that if she brings out a "smasher"!

Hope they don't overdo the autotune!

I loved her to begin with but she got worse week after week on X Factor. I think because she's only 17 she's still impressionable, and she must've thought it was 'cool' to adopt a 'rapper ego'. She could've won if she was still as bubbly as she was in her first audition, and if she focused on singing. I love her voice, but I'm not too keen on her rapping. I would buy her version of 'Turn My Swag On', it was that good.

Well I thought X Factor acts weren't allowed to sign other deals apart from with Simon's label, until after the tour had finished? :-?

Probably The Sun bullsh*tting.

Hope it's true, but it would make more sense for her to sign with Will here in the US.

I don't think she's signed to RocNation. Cheryl Cole was sort of hinting on ALan Carr that there are talks with Will.I.Am going on. I reckon it'll either be Will's label or Syco.

She is signed to Syco, but I guess she will sign a deal here in USA with Will or Jay-Z I guess. Official Website: http://www.cherlloyd.com/

It kinda seems like she confimred it on Twitter as many people have been asking her.

Bite my tongue,I shall not say a word.

I very much doubt she will break America, and if she does I'll be disappointed much more talented British acts didn't do it instead of her.

I think they are going to really rush her album - I mean if she was already recording on the Monday after the final they must be.

I reckon they want to get her first single out before Jessie J really makes it proper.

I totally disagree with you, I think she is going to be a global superstar and Simon, Jay-Z, and Will know that.

It's been confirmed that Cher is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation after a major bidding war between Jay-Z and will.i.am.

Meet Roc Nation's Newest Signee: X-Factor's Cher Lloyd

Jay-Z is still building his artist arsenal and recently added 2010 X-Factor finalist Cher Lloyd to the roster. However, it wasn't easy for the helm of Roc Nation to bag the sassy rapper-slash-singer. The UK teen was in the midst of a friendly bidding war between Jay and Black Eyed Peas mastermind will.i.am before she officially inked her deal.

Do not count will.i.am out though. According to Ace Show Biz, the uber-futuristic producer shared with the world via Twitter that a smash duo with R&B singer Lloyd is not far off.

"Cher loyd (sic) and I went in the studio and made a mega smasher... Hey cher, when should we release the song we recorded in london???...(Its a smasher)," he tweeted.

Even though the English lady didn't win the television talent contest, she's basking in the ultimate win by now sharing a home with talented rising stars, such as Willow Smith, J. Cole and Jay Electronica.

Sadly for Cher, Jessie OWNS that market in terms of talent.

I loved Cher on the show - she was my most-favourite x factor contestant ever, so I for one would love to see what she comes out with.

Bit of Cher Lloyd gosp for you. There's definitely no deal with Jay Z. She's being signed 100 per cent by Simon Cowell's SyCo.
According to Dan Wootton, the guy from News Of The World.

I don't understand it anymore  Maybe she's signed to Syco for the UK market and Jay Z signed her for the American market. That's possible right? I remember the Sugababes having something like that aswell.

    @ Cher's face.
Jay-Z's RocNation is shaping up to have quite the roster with the addition of 17 year old singing sensation Cher Lloyd. The "X-Factor" star was shocked as she arrived to a sea a paparazzi waiting for her arrival in the states. Cher Lloyd met with RocNation execs to discuss plans for her debut album.
Cher Lloyd also appeared to be sporting some new ink on her arm which reads "All you got is your soul". If it sounds familiar, that's because it's a Tracy Chapman lyric. Cher Lloyd is a tough cookie with an old soul she barked back at haters on her twitter page saying "You feel the need to ridicule me, yet you don't know me? And most of its bullshit. Round of applause for those who hurt me."

I used to like her but she's starting to come across a bit cocky and annoying. Someone just needs to sit her down and tell her she's a reality show contestant, not a superstar.
