Let's use this thread to discuss all things about 4th place X-factor contestant Cher Lloyd.

I would like her to stick to the R&B/hip-hop genre with a few pop ballads. The day after the last xfactor...cher loyd and I went in the studio and made a mega smasher.
She is signed to Syco, but I guess she will sign a deal here in USA with Will or Jay-Z I guess. Official Website: http://www.cherlloyd.com/UKMusicLova wrote:I don't think she's signed to RocNation. Cheryl Cole was sort of hinting on ALan Carr that there are talks with Will.I.Am going on. I reckon it'll either be Will's label or Syco.
Bite my tongue,I shall not say a word.
I totally disagree with you, I think she is going to be a global superstar and Simon, Jay-Z, and Will know that.alxx wrote:I very much doubt she will break America, and if she does I'll be disappointed much more talented British acts didn't do it instead of her.
Me 2. She's got everything 2 be a huuuge starSOS7 wrote:I totally disagree with you, I think she is going to be a global superstar and Simon, Jay-Z, and Will know that.alxx wrote:I very much doubt she will break America, and if she does I'll be disappointed much more talented British acts didn't do it instead of her.
SourceMeet Roc Nation's Newest Signee: X-Factor's Cher Lloyd
Jay-Z is still building his artist arsenal and recently added 2010 X-Factor finalist Cher Lloyd to the roster. However, it wasn't easy for the helm of Roc Nation to bag the sassy rapper-slash-singer. The UK teen was in the midst of a friendly bidding war between Jay and Black Eyed Peas mastermind will.i.am before she officially inked her deal.
Do not count will.i.am out though. According to Ace Show Biz, the uber-futuristic producer shared with the world via Twitter that a smash duo with R&B singer Lloyd is not far off.
"Cher loyd (sic) and I went in the studio and made a mega smasher... Hey cher, when should we release the song we recorded in london???...(Its a smasher)," he tweeted.
Even though the English lady didn't win the television talent contest, she's basking in the ultimate win by now sharing a home with talented rising stars, such as Willow Smith, J. Cole and Jay Electronica.
Sadly for Cher, Jessie OWNS that market in terms of talent.UKMusicLova wrote:
I reckon they want to get her first single out before Jessie J really makes it proper.
According to Dan Wootton, the guy from News Of The World.Bit of Cher Lloyd gosp for you. There's definitely no deal with Jay Z. She's being signed 100 per cent by Simon Cowell's SyCo.

I loved Cher on the show - she was my most-favourite x factor contestant ever
Jay-Z's RocNation is shaping up to have quite the roster with the addition of 17 year old singing sensation Cher Lloyd. The "X-Factor" star was shocked as she arrived to a sea a paparazzi waiting for her arrival in the states. Cher Lloyd met with RocNation execs to discuss plans for her debut album.
Cher Lloyd also appeared to be sporting some new ink on her arm which reads "All you got is your soul". If it sounds familiar, that's because it's a Tracy Chapman lyric. Cher Lloyd is a tough cookie with an old soul she barked back at haters on her twitter page saying "You feel the need to ridicule me, yet you don't know me? And most of its bullshit. Round of applause for those who hurt me."
