There's loads of highlights on the BBC website now, of which I am SO glad as I can't wait to relive it all, I had the absolute time of my LIFE! Even the weather wasn't going to get me down, I'd be back there tomorrow if I could be. I saw 19 acts, and I'd rank them in this order..
19. Metronomy - Enjoyed but knew the least material and made least impact.
18. Chipmunk - Again, enjoyable but wasn't really in the thick of it and nothing blew me away.
17. Plan B - A decent setlist packed with the hits but my fears that his live voice isn't that amazing were confirmed. Good, not great.
16. Fleet Fozes
I wasn't so familar with the material and saw the set at a time where I was absolutely shattered and right from the back but the songs I knew were great and their vocals and harmonies were very impressive.
15. Ke$ha
Vocals weren't the greatest, set was pretty short but it was entertaining and a great opener to get the weekend going!
14. Jamie Woon
A really nice opener to the day, a great choice of cover (Would I Lie To You) and some great vocals.
13. Jessie J
I found this a bit disappointing and I can't really put my finger on why (other than too much talking). Great vocals as ever but perhaps it was her having to sit through it that just made the whole thing a bit underwhelming.
12. Friendly Fires
Some really cracking music despite me not knowing much of it - enjoyed a good boogie!
11. Cee Lo Green
A great set, great energy and great vocals but for a headliner just far too short at only 40 minutes!
10. Tinie Tempah
A hit induced setlist, great fun!
09. Janelle Monae
Sadly didn't get to see the whole thing due to dashing off for Coldplay but she was really rocking it as I left!
08. Pendulum
Nowhere near as good as the last time I saw them - it was too light, I was too far away and the people I was with didn't get it at all but I still very much enjoyed my own little personal rave!
07. Coldplay
A fantastic headline set! Was disappointed at the exclusion of Talk, Trouble and Speed of Sound but the other hits were superb and singalong. Felt magical.
06. The Wombats
Thoroughly enjoyed this set, I'd heard they weren't great live but I'd have to disagree, love the new album so great to hear some tracks from that, the crowd got going, loved it!
05. Biffy Clyro
Great great singalong, rocking out set!
04. Two Door Cinema Club
The guys live voice is so strong and even though it was raining it was a set made for a festival, too good!
03. Mumford & Sons
Been waiting to see these guys a long time. They did not disappoint. Glasto moments aplenty. Just superb.
02. Noisettes
The big surprise for me. Seen them before and very much enjoyed but this was just SUPERB. Shingai was so involved with the crowd, knew how to speak to them and rocked her perfomance!
01. Beyonce
Will detail in the Beyonce topic but really, it was the best thing ever. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, it was SO special.
The music this year was so strong that any of my top 7 would potentially have outranked my top set from last year.
Glasto 'moments' were: Beyonce - Crazy In Love and Halo, Mumford & Songs - Dust Bowl Dance and The Cave, Biffy Clyro - Mountains, The Wombats - Let's Dance To Joy Division, Coldplay - Fix You, Cee Lo - F**k You, Jessie J - Price Tag.
I want to be back there now
