HOORAY for Kylie spending another week at No. 1! also glad to see Matt's "When We Collide" debut, I definitely prefer it to Joe's "The Climb" cover. ;)

aw, sad to see "All The Lovers" fall from No. 1, but I guess "E.T." is a pretty good replacement. ;)

also lovin' the debut for "Mean"! I really, really hope it becomes a hit here in the US and revitalizes the album sales.

Year to Date Chart

Every 13 weeks ( ) I will biuld a "year to date" chart until the final one at the end of the year. This is the first one. The songs get points by their placement on the week charts. (#1 gets 10 pts, #2 gets 9 pts, #3 gets 8 pts. etc. and #10 gets 1 pt,) The albums are based on their sales to date.

Here are all the songs that have charted on my chart the first 13 weeks  In order of most successfulness. If songs have same # of points, placement will be affected by peak. If 2 songs have the same amount of points and same peak, the higher one will be the one still charting. If they are both not charted, whoever had the most weeks, or better chart run.

Mega Smashes :

1. Back To December | Taylor Swift 88 pts. (Still charting, Peak #1)

2. Grenade | Bruno Mars 73 pts. (Fell out this week, Peak #1)

great to see "E.T." holding down the top spot + "Who Says" slowly but surely keep on climbing!

defiintely no surprise that Taylor has both your No. 1 song and album of the year-to-date! ;)
