Groupon?

Postby Charmbracelet » Wed Apr 20, 2011 4:49 pm

Has anyone ever used Groupon? They have a really good offer on a Samsung Galaxy tablet today but it seems really complicated to buy it. Does anyone know if it is a good company, or how the discounts work? Their site is really confusing!

I don't know, but they're always advertising cakes on YouTube.

It's all very odd.

My mother uses this, believe it or not.

I think she finds it confusing... not sure whether that is a reflection of the company or just my mother.

Yes!

I swear I've seen those cakes on a billboard as well somewhere. It's actually really starting to freak me out.

They always tell me if I go to Liverpool I can get 90% off them! Too bad they look disgusting!

I think I have figured out how to use it, you buy the voucher off them, and then if enough people also buy the voucher, it becomes valid. If too few people buy it, then you get refunded. You then take the voucher to the shop/online store to get the discount!

Groupon was featured on BBC1's 'Watchdog' yesterday.

My fiancee uses Groupon - she's never had a bad experience with it thus far - usually goes for the spa/hairdressing offers.

they are very popular over here, mostly vouchers to restaurants (highly popular), then wellness etc ...

there are about 200 active websites where you can get this vouchers.
I´m thinking about to try them too, the restaurant or wellness voucher.

I've never used it myself, but a couple of my friends do and they are really positive about it.
