As per her tweet, seems like album title is New Life. She's working hard in the studio considering it's holidays.

Excited for this

Hoping for different to Still Standing, a more modern sound. Still Standing brought it back to the old school, hope Monica can take it forward from that. Still oh so disappointed that Once In A Lifetime was never released! It is amazing. Monica needs to work with Los Da Mystro again. I think she'd do well with The-Dream/Tricky combo too.

New Life could mean that she is looking to the future, breaking ne ground or a new sound? I'm really, really excited to hear what the album will sound like! New Life is a great title 8-)

"New Life" is a good title! A lot better than what else it could've been - "Rebirth", "Reborn" etc.

She could easily top the success she recieved with "Still Standing". If she combines the sound of SS with a couple more umptempos and something a little different, she would no doubt be on to another winner.

Glad that Mo is working hard on the next album already. Hopefully we will atleast get it by 2012 but I'm guessing she's still aiming for a 2011 release.

I loved Still standing, one of her strongest efforts yet.

No no not 2012. She said 1st single in March and album in July.

Wow, that was fast. Personally, I wouldn't mind it being a lot like Still Standing, that's the style where Monica really shines.

I know everyone complains that she hasn't progressed, but I think her last two albums were current enough while staying true to herself. She is best at R&B ballads, and I don't find (the majority of) them dated at all.

Just please, more than 10 tracks this time!

^^^I agree for the most part. Except I would say some songs on the album before still standing were quite outdated but I actually thought that album wasnt as bad as made out to be.

Love Monica, and "Still Standing" was a great R&B album and it was a real sort of tribute to her Ol' Skool roots... "Love All Over Me" is straight mid-90's cool.

This time around I'd love to see about more progression.

But whatever, I'll like it regardless...

The collabo sounds HOT!

And it would be a huge deal for Lil Kim right now to get on such a high profile Urban song if it's a smash!

Though it wouldn't surprise me if the song only features Missy when it comes out! :lol:

Missy did brilliant work on Monica's last three albums; So Gone, Dozen Roses and If You Were My Man!
Things are falling into place amazing! Her comeback album happened! The Voice is giving her further recognition. And she's currently on a radio tour with The Voice!

Monica needs to keep it REAL with her lead single! The rest should fall into place! I just don't want a Polow leae single! Missy Missy Missy!
