I'm not sure exactly what I want from Rebecca, if I want chilled or bitter music etc, but I definitely want emotions from her. I agree with the Adele comments though, she should definitely go more down that route instead of the Leona route...

I definitely think Corinne/Adele-esque material with maybe a couple of dance numbers would be a good move for her.
Yeah thats what I think too.

She's made a TV commercial and it's quit funny. Crisps, can't remember the make.

The advert is funny!

She had an interview on Lorraine a few days ago and she said that she's still working on her album. She called it heartfelt, powerful and inspirational for women in particular. She said that she's writing the majority of the tracks. She didn't say when we can expect it though! :(

She was in the studio with Chuck Harmony (Russian Roulette, Pretty Girl Rock) and Claude Kelly the past few days! Chuck Harmony mainly produces R&B songs so is that the direction Rebecca's album will go in? Soul/R&B!

I never considered her the best singer and found her highly overrated on the X Factor but I will be interested to see what she comes up with! Her "Amazing Grace" performance was a stand out and I do believe she will have a unique sound.

One of my favourite performances of hers was week 1 "Teardrops", I'd love her to do something really classic sounding like this, she sounded almost like Dionne Warwick, I hope they don't throw her down the Alexandra route because there are so many female artists doing the same thing right now.

I know I'm bound to say this but I don't think they will as she just isn't the sort of artist to pull that off, performance wise. I'd like a couple of dance tracks as Sweet Dreams was her best for me but given that she can't really... well... dance, I can't see them taking her that route.

By the same token, while Alexandra has a cracking voice, it isn't the most unique of voices, while Rebecca has a very distinctive tone and they'd do well to make a very classic album to make the best use of that in my book, without covering it up with production and beats.

I'd like her to do some dance stuff, especially as it's the popular thing to do at the moment. She would definitely be more suited than Leona.

I think they will play it safe though. I'm not sure what target audience they will be going for. I think she is at her strongest doing old style soul stuff/motown stuff.

I think it would be a mistake to market her in an Alexandra type of way.

We'll wait to create a topic for the single when it's been officially announced but it is looking likely as it's on the release schedule too.

A review from OrangeMusic...

'Nothing's Real But Love' is a classy acoustic soul track, a mid-tempo ballad with live-sounding production and a stirring gospel choir backing. Rebecca's stunning, distinctive voice still has the tone of classic soul singers such as Dionne Warwick and is a million miles from the hi-energy pop of her 2010 rivals One Direction and Cher Lloyd.

'Shoulder To Shoulder' is built upon a smooth piano refrain and a delicate string section, with Rebecca soaring over an uplifting chorus. The track rises and falls as the orchestra swells, before disappearing to leave Rebecca's vocal sounding raw and emotional over the lone piano. It's lovely stuff.

Rebecca's debut album is due for release on 5 December (clear a little space in your christmas stocking) and is scheduled to appear on the live X Factor show the day before to perform.

The title of her debut single will be revealed 'soon', she recently told her Facebook followers...
