Suikoden Tierkreis (2009)

Image

Suikoden is in my opinion the best series of video games there is, along with the Zelda series!

This game however was claimed to have excluded some of the series trademarks, which didnt make me feel extreme anticipation. I bought it a year ago, but started playing it first around Christmas, and now I understand that this series is completely outstanding and unbeatable, totally! RPG, as it should be! Unfortunately, this game doesnt use the traditional Suikoden way of using Runes (Magic) and it also misses that extremely emotional relations and events, and almost depressive (in my opinion) expression which is always present in the Playstation games, plus all the betrayals and intrigues. But the reason to why reviewers have critically acclaimed the game is precisely why it's an entertaining, exciting and playful adventure - it has an incredibly well-written story, good graphics and apart from that of "Suikoden feeling", it's a really, really good game with a nice "flow"!

Waiting for Suikoden VI for Playstation is like waiting for a new Kate Bush album - Please GOD! I need it!

I remember adoring this game when I had my SNES years ago, it featured some great game music and has to be one of the most fun platform games ever! I still love it now, I'm so happy I can play this on my PC using a great emulator and USB SNES controller!

Also try Tiny Toons Wacky Sports Challenge (SNES)

This is also an amazingly fun game!!

I finished playing this game about a month ago, it left me speechless just like every other Suikoden game does. What an incredible story and atmosphere! The best RPG on the Nintendo DS, and one of the best I have played!

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (2007)

Image

Currently playing this game! I love the series and this game is not an exception! What I like most about it is the difficulty, it's not an easy game for the player who doesnt allow any of his or her characters to die. One could wish for more video scenes (only 1 after 14 hours of gameplay) and voice acting, however I very much enjoy the way the story is told, in a sort of "litterature" type of style, with pictures etc. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a real challenging strategy game which also seem to be quite "lenghty", as I've only reached the beginning of Part 2 after over 10 hours, each part (4 in total) having 10 chapters and then they will all come together in the end, I suppose! :)

Super Mario Galaxy

Image

I am playing this together with my two nieces, 5 + 7 years old. We're having so much fun and come up with these random tunes to sing, words to shout, sounds to make etc. For them it's an adventure, it's more than just a video game.

And I guess, I take it just as seriously as they do.
After all, it's Nintendo and I've been playing their games since I was very little. Super Mario Galaxy is a great game! I am glad I finally gave it a chance.

Super Mario Galaxy is one of the best games I've played on Wii. I love how Mario has survived for over 25 years, and he's still relevant. I can't wait to play SMG2.

This game is really great! It's a pretty good fighting game! The only problem I'm having right now with it is the Online play. I honestly find it terrible. But now it's starting to get better.

Reliving my favourite childhood game series:

Image

I only bought this a few days ago and I've already completed the storyline in two days (roughly seven hours between the two). Have to say, the storyline was absolutely fantastic - MILES ahead over every previous Mortal Kombat game!

And I'm also loving the fact that I have a chance to play with an updated Sindel (my favourite Mortal Kombat character evah). 8-)
