Yeah I agree. I quite liked the penalties that they had to suffer - though feel a bit sorry for Jenson Button.

I'm going to try follow F1 more this year - this is the best line up of drivers for years (well same as last year, but you get me...)

As soon as I unpacked my new laptop, downloaded and watched the Aussie GP. Looks like Vettel has improved after becoming a champion...not a single mistake at all from him! 8-)

Sad for Schumi and Button...Petrov was really impressive

Really good race IMO. Although it seemed fairly obvious Vettel would win from the start, others homed in on him. The more exciting battles were further down the field Schumi/Kobayashi, and Heidfeld/Webber at the end was great.

I thought it was a brilliant race. One of the best I've seen for a while. The new tyre system has really shaken things up (in a good way).

Hamilton did well to end up P1. Webber was amazing to make it from P18 in qualifying to finishing P3 in the race.

I agree, really good action packed race.

Great drives from Hamilton and Webber. Shame for Button and LOL for going into the wrong garage during his pit stop!

Easily the best race for a long long time!! Amazing drives from Hamilton and Webber

As for Alguersuari's bizarre retirement and Button entering the wrong pit

Button driving into the wrong pit was definitely the highlight of the race. Although ultimately, I don't think it made a difference to his race - just seemed like a faux pas.

I'm so glad that this year's championship is going to be between Mclaren and Redbull!

Decent race. Again, Vettel did well but I hate it when one driver just storms the race, and consequently the championship.

Did anyone else notice that Hamilton has had some work on his teeth? He no longer has a gap in his front two.

Vettel is the king! 8-)

If he also wins Monaco GP, he is already the champion!

It was eventful, btu definitley not the right result. I feel Button deserved to win that GP. If not him then Alonso. They should've just ended it when the race was Red Flagged.

Also, Lewis Hamilton came across as beign a d*ck in his comments post-race. He caused two incidents, both of which led to the safety car coming out, yet tried to shift the blame. I think he should've been penalised for the collision with Maldonado.

Hamilton is so reckless... he was at fault for those incidents as you said... he only has himself to blame and was lucky to come out with some points - as he would have had to retire had it not been for the restart.

Talking about lucky... Vettel was extremely lucky and I was left a bit disappointed really that we didn't get to see the final laps the way we should have done, as I think it would have been a totally different result all round.

Lewis ruined Maldonado's race, damn he was going to score much needed points for Williams!!

I was worried that Vettel might get passed, but Alonso did not even try...

Sebastian is miles ahead in championship now...though a DNF would still change everything

Someone needs to take him off. My money's on Hamilton after the Monaco GP where he seemed to enjoy shifting the blame after taking people off. :P
