This is wrong... Bruno Mars was nominated last year... no way he could even been nominated for best new artist or album of the year...
No gender categories anymore!
You forgot to put "21" for album of the year along with "My beautiful dark twisted fantasy"

No need to roll. He still could be nominated in Album of The Year though, even though 'Just The Way You Are' won this year, the album came out after the Grammy's deadline so I think he'll be eligible.

I think it's gonna be between Adele, Bruno & Kanye for Album, Record & Song Of The Year or maybe some Country/Rock acts that I don't really recognize, or maybe even Lady Gaga (again).

For the Best New Artist, Nicki Minaj & Jessie J will be up there. I see Nicki Minaj getting some loves in the Rap category as well, oh and I'm rooting for 'Look At Me Now' in Best Rap Performance. 8-) Pretty sure Kanye will get the Best Rap Album though, and probably and hopefully Beyonce for Best R&B Album. 8-) :P

For Best Dance Recording, hopefully it goes to Jennifer Lopez, 'On The Floor' is easily the best dance song this year so far. Britney, David Guetta, Chris Brown/Benny Benassi & LMFAO might be nominated as well.

For best Pop performance, I think Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno & Katy Perry will be nominated. It's so hard to predict though since they removed the gender-based categories. :x

I hope JLo gets a nom with "On the Floor" I see it so distant though :( But she deserves it!

I won't make any guesses right now, since it's only halfway through the year. But I do hope Jennifer wins something for On The Floor. And I think it's has a chance due to it's
longevity 8-)

Timmy94, your list is wrong on so many different levels :-?

Pink Friday beating MBDTW for Rap album? :o
Doo-Whops for Best R'n'B album?
Born This Way beating 21 for pop album? Or do you think 21 will be in Traditional Pop Vocal Album category?

And I doubt live version of SLY can be nominated for Grammy. I think live versions are only eligible for vocal/performance categories. Was it even released in US, by the way?

I think they'll give Best Rap Album to Nicki Minaj because she was very successful last year and is a new artist... Plus, many people think Kanye West is over the top (thinking he's the best) especially after the accident with Taylor Swift.

I asked myself in which category Doo-Wops fits better and comparing it to Lady Gaga or Adele, it doesn't really fit... It's more urban than them...

I think BTW and 21 sound like a different genre compared to each other that's why I picked BTW for Pop Album... Perhaps you're right with Traditional Pop Vocal album for 21  .

I looked it up and e.g. Halo by Beyonce was nominated for Record Of The Year in its live version...
As far as I know, a nomination on "Song Of The Year" has to be officially released while "Record Of The Year" can be everything (even an album track).
Plus, many people said that they found the live version of the song so much better and named it one of the best live perfomances of the year.

Jennifer Lopez will NOT win a Grammy, even for Best Dance Recording.

That will probably go to Lady GaGa, Chris Brown/Benny B, an unknown artist or Rihanna(if she's eligible).
Photoshoot fresh... I'm about to call the paparazzi on myself.

so far i definitely think Adele and Gaga will score huge number of nominations, following by Bruno probably. Kanye might get nods for MBDTW for Album of the year.
Hopefully Beyoncé will rule r'n'b field, however Jennifer Hudson's last opus is flawless as well.

it's sad that coldplay won't release their new album in time for the grammys next year.. but i believe they will get a nomination for it!

adele will obviously win in 2012... there is no competition yet!

IMO Kanye will grab 'Album of the Year'. Adele will grab 'Record of the Year' and 'Song of the Year' with Rolling in the Deep.

Grammy committee is really reluctant when it comes to hip-hop albums. I can easily see them choosing 21 over MBDTF. Plus Kanye has his long history of loosing in this category

I think the nominees will be like this:

Album Of The Year:
01. Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
02. Lady GaGa - Born This Way
03. ADELE - 21
04. Beyoncé - 4
05. Foo Fighters - Wasting Lights

*Taylor Swift - Speak Now (possibly)

Record of The Year:
01. ADELE - Rolling In The Deep
02. Lady GaGa - The Edge of Glory
03. Beyoncé - Best Thing I Never Had or something else
04. Bruno Mars - Grenade
05. Coldplay - Every Tear Drop Is A Waterfall

Song Of The Year:
01. ADELE - Rolling In The Deep
02. Beyoncé - 1+1
03. Bruno Mars - Grenade
04.

Brand New Artist:
01. Nicki Minaj
02. Bruno Mars
03. Jessie J
04. --
05. --

Best R&B Album:
01. Jennifer Hudson - I Remember Me
02. Beyoncé - 4

Too lazy to do the rest... I see Beyoncé dominating the R&B categories... She'll win Best R&B Album, Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song... Also it is possible for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration win, if Lift Off is good... Plus her songs for 'A Star Is Born' will be eligible. Bey will bring it vocally... Can she dominate the Grammys again? :o

"Star Is Born" will be out in 2012 so it won't be eligible. As much as I wish it would be true I don't see Bey dominating Grammy this year.

If they choose "I Was Here" as a single later this year I think it may have a chance in 2013 pop vocal performance field.

if Bieber got nominated for so many awards last year, it'd be a crime if Rebecca Black doesn't at least get "Record Of The Year".

I think Beyoncé can dominate in the R&B field, but aside from that, I doubt it.
As for Album of The Year, I want and predict '21' to win but last year I was predicting 'Soldier of Love' to win and 'The Element of Freedom' and 'The Blueprint 3' to be nominated and look what happened...
