"A bouncy track indeed", I love it when we sound all old-fashioned! That's great, do that kompis! The album might sound a bit "boring" as alxx wrote, especially for someone not used to this sort of music.

I'm constantly fascinated by the musical perfection of the variation in both emotion and skill. It's this flexibility to balance between acoustic and electronic sounds and the intimacy of the lead singer (the female vocalist also does a brilliant job) which impressed me, and moves me. There's so much to discover in the musical presentation (if you can say so?).

Plus, I simply adore how the emotions expressed throughout the album are obvious but at the same time sublime. Something very masculine about everything. A 10/10 album! Without a doubt! :D

Hoping that you'll enjoy it! :D

I remember liking another song by them, which made it to your (now dead) countdown, forgot which one.

Liking two songs is enough for me to try the whole album. Plus, I am very partial towards bands who have both male and female vocalists (eg The Kills)

My countdown!!! :o
Here's promising to finish it by the end of this week!
I have forgotten all about it (more than once), sorry!

I think the track you're talking about is She Wants?

Yeah, off-topic, but are you a fan of the Kills?
Looking forward to hear what you think of The English Riviera, no pressure though! ;)

That video is amazing. The best I've seen in a long time! And yeah, that must be the song. You really are getting me hooked here. I officially begin discovering them.

I like The Kills. They really have a kick.

Okay, after giving a proper listen to this album, I must say, AMAZING! Very solid album.

My instant faves:

The Bay
Corrine
She Wants
Some Written
We Broke Free
Everything Goes My Way

I love the chillout feel to the album. Relaxing beats, laid back coolness, and catchy at the right places. Great summer album.

What's their style? It's like M83 or Delphic?

I just wanted to share one of the contenders of becoming my #1 song from 2011! It's a bouncy track, filled with amazing rhythm and feelings. I get a sort of divine feeling from it. This might sound odd, but I feel like I'm a cheating man when listening to this, a pig that is. Who realizes that I want my lover back, only to treat her badly again. Strange huh? Not really, I could go deeper into this, but I wont

During the instrumental part after the first verse, plus the whole refrain - if no one can see me, my body becomes fettered in trance, closing my eyes and doing the "picking apples dance" - up, down, left and right. Claustrophobic in a way.

******* Amazing!

Listen and tell me what you think? :)
I heard this when you sent me a pm and i really really liked it! It's growing on me with each listen! Thanks for letting me know for this, Vindrag. You're amazing

I love the Inspector Gadget feel to that track!

I entered the UKMIX Forum Song Contest with Corinne to represent the UK this month, we'll see if it smashes or flops!

And jszmiles, they don't sound like any of those acts you mentioned, not in my opinion.

He sings well on that. But the music gets irritating. There is catchy, and then there is just plain annoying.

But I love this album. I play it regularly.

I've been curious about this album for a long time now, but when I first heard it back in May I didn't like it at all. You guys kept on raving about it!

Few days ago I saw the video for The Look on Youtube, and damn. :o What an amazing song, I just bought it. Once I'm tired of The Look, I'm going to check out the entire album! :D I still don't like the other tracks from the previews but I guess they will grow on me eventually.

My favorites from the album:

Corrine
She Wants
The Bay
The Look
Everything Goes My Way

The rest can be skipped. Some Written is okay, but its too long and dull.
