i know where you're coming from on that one, i used to absolutely hate her voice. there was a time when i'd rather have listened to nails scraping a blackboard, but now for some reason i love everything about her, especially the last two albums. :-?

I wondered that too. Blatant favouritism...

I like this song. Especially the bit at the beginning; "My love is on the line" with the weird warbling man in the background. Has anyone else noticed she says "love is" as one word? Like "luviss". Bless Anastacia. I'm going to see her in November. With my mum and my best friend. Hooray! It'll be on bonfire night too so she'd best have fireworks and a bonfire and make us all evacuate in case we burn to death.

I haven't listened to the album in ages just cos I didn't want to overplay ti like Left Outside Alone has been ( ). I still love this song though. Have to agree with Hector, though - the cover stinks. She could have at least showed a bit more flesh ( :o ) : this is Anastacia!

I was gonna say for her to get her baps out but I thought that might be a tad insensitive...

Heehee, bless (evil, conniving, dirty, nasty, fantastic) Michelle.

On the subject of Anastacia's "baps", she did a rather half-clothed shoot for FHM didn't she? I'm sure I saw it and was shocked. Didn't expect that of Anastacia!

Ana's got a great body! :D

I hope promotes this one live, because I sort of wondered why Left Outside Alone was mimed (I've found out now - she couldn't sing the first bit, because she recorded it while she had dancer) and I wanna see what she's like, in preparation for November :D

But didn't she do LOA live when she did it the first time on TOTP?

Nope, the performances on TOTP were both the same - they repeated the performance when she charted.

 I wanna get Anastacia's eponymous 3rd album so baldy. I could just get it right now under import at Tower Records, but I would rather just wait for it because it seems good enough to wait and stuff. It's okay though because she's a cool artist. I actually got the US maxi single for "Left Outside Alone." I like the voice she does in the beginning. That girl can sing! I like how she's versatile with her vocal delivery. The B-side track, "Get Ready," is pretty cool, but some of the lyrics seem confusing and rather pointless. Yeah, but Anastacia's found another great niche at making pop/rock, so good luck to her on that. Don't remember what "Sick And Tired" sounds like, but you know, I will once the album comes out July 13th here in the US (same day Mis-Teeq's album comes out here, yay!!!). Yeah, but I'll definitely get it.

The video is on First Play Friday today, and it's quite good!

It's based around a performance, but it's got a few acting parts, where she has a row with this man, and he hits her, and she locks him out of the room. Its quite nice, in a minimalistic way! :)

It's weird! :-? I called it "crap" the first time I saw it!
The second time it was strange! :-?

Good to see the video's getting some airplay after LOA didn;t get til the last minute!

I like the clip - it's something completely different to all of the clips she's done in the past. She seems to be a pretty good actress too. The song is growing on me the more I hear it on radio, but I still think there are better songs on the album that could have been released as the second single.

I do like this song a lot more now, but it's still nothing in comparison to 'Left Outside Alone'.

I think that's wrong. On a list I had the other day, Jamelia had sold 213,000 and D12 weren't that high, and Anastacia was #7.

For Jamelia, you sure those sales weren't for Superstar? Must have passed the 200K mark ages ago...

Anastacia was #7 last week, 2 weeks ago, and the week before that, but because of the amazing chart run it's had, it's sales increased along the way.
