I don't mean it like that. I just think the teenage/young adult listeners of Radio 1 would appreciate it more than the 40+ year old adults listening to Radio 2 as they drive to work :lol:

Tru but its hard to get a Billboard Top 10 when Airplay is not 50mil+...Especially for a song with Steady sales and Longevity and not just a massive seller for a few weeks.

Exactly, the US Billboard 100 chart often makes big sellers look underwhelming. This sold the same, if not more than a lot of Top 5's on the Hot 100 (i.e 2x Plat)... More like a No1. Airplay counts for 50% and the fact that is was only an Average Airplay Hit makes it look as though it didn't smash.

I remember hearing this quite a long time ago on the radio and having no idea who was singing, but I loved the song instantly and went home and googled the few lyrics I remembered and have been listening to the song ever since.
Glad it's getting well-deserved attention in the UK.

Its extremely close to being no.2 on UK iTunes

This is even before Radio 1 have started playing it... since the updated playlist starts on Monday if i'm correct.

I know. Its just that music in general has been so diabolical this year.

I've liked Avril Lavigne's, Nerina Pallot's, and Christina Perri's music, and am excited for the new Red Hot Chili's and No Doubt's albuns, but that's it really :lol:
