It's a UKMIX poll of 100 top ABBA songs - and each of them has the facility that you can click on the image and get a link to the song. I've listened to all 100 as I've gone through, and they're all worth checking out - but the big shock great song for me that I didn't previously know was "King King Song"

Shorty, if you like ballads/mid-tempos I'd recommend :

Swim (Ray of Light)
To have and not to hold (Ray of Light)
Gone (Music)
Forbidden Love (Confessions)
Intervention (American Life)
Devil Wouldn't Recognize You (Hard Candy)

or dance songs:

Sky Fits Heaven (Confessions)
Future Lovers (Confessions)
Like It Or Not (Confessions)
Isaac (Confessions)
Physical Attraction ( Madonna)
Nobody knows me (American Life)

Even her outtakes are amazing
Gone Gone Gone
Revenge
Animal
Broken(I'm sorry)
Channel Orange

YESSSS.

Ummm.... let's see, lemme start with her uptempo records, since they're easier to get into.

Listen to these first, then get back to me:

-Son Of A Gun (Diddy remix)
-All For You
-Black Cat
-If
-Throb
-Someone To Call My Lover
-So Excited
-What Have You Done For Me Lately.

Plus you're a Britney fan, so it won't be that hard to get into her stuff.

But he/she should listen to single version. It's better than the album version.

I'd give the world to fall in lve with Madonna's back catalogue again - it was such an exciting time as I didn't do it all in one go, but gradually.

My recommendation would be to get TIC, GHV2, Celebration and then Something to Remember - her 4 greatest hts albums first. Then work out which you think sounds the best, and get the studio album for that era.

Thats the only way to do it: don't follow online hype or her biggest selling albums unless you want to (biggest selling album is True Blue, but 5 of the 9 songs were singles, and in fandom Like a Prayer, Ray of Light and American Life are her most revered albums... But IMO not elective of the overall tone of Madona's career).

I'm Breathless is a pop/jazz/broadway album inspired by the film she was in at the time, Dick Tracy. Vogue is reflective of absolutely nothing on this album, just in case that's you're favourite song

Also, track down her single, 'Gambler' - her only single never to be on any of her albums. It's an 80s gem, recorded alongside Crazy For You, and a firm fan favourite - she refuses to perform it though, even after a 100 people at the front of Wembley Stadium held up banners asking for the song in 2008 - bitch said she couldn't remember the words

Ooh awesome :D Thanks for the suggestions DaBoi and menime123! I'll go check out this stuff and download it later!

I've been wanting to get more into Madonna for ages and ages, but she has the hugest back catalogue I had no idea where to start

Heh oddly enough I own Something To Remember! I won it in a competition years ago. I love it too!
