Una Healy and Ben Foden are expecting their first child together.

The Saturdays singer, who has been going out with the England rugby star since the end of 2008, will be three months' pregnant next week, reports The Mirror.

"I'm really happy," she said. "It was totally unexpected, but me and Ben are really excited."

Healy broke the news to her family in County Tipperary, Ireland on Wednesday, while Foden celebrated with his England rugby teammates in New Zealand, where they are currently competing in the World Cup.

Healy, who does not know the sex of her child, is now believed to have called off plans to visit Foden in New Zealand on his birthday next month, in order to avoid the long-haul flight.

The Saturdays added: "We're so excited for Una! We can't wait to have a sixth Saturday. Ben and Una are going to be fab parents!"

A source claimed that Healy will continue to honour her commitments with the 'All Fired Up' band "right up until she's fit to burst". The Saturdays are due to release their third studio album in November and embark on a UK arena tour the following month.
Timed it quite well I suppose, the album campaign should be almost done by the time she pops.

...It wouldn't happen to a Girls Aloud member! j/k

Congrats to Una! If I was her, I would want Ben's babies, too. 8-)

I love her honesty. She's pretty much said this baby was an accident, albeit a wonderful one.

This baby is gonna be so frickin adorable - BenUna are a hot couple. As Col pointed out, who wouldn't want his babies?

Although I'm not too sure she should be doing the tour in December, it'll be a lot of stress and hard work.

I bet she didn't mean to do that, she just talks!!

Congrats to her, the selfish side of me is slightly worried about the Saturdays side of things but if she can make it to the tour then the third single and album should be out, then they will have 12 singles for a greatest hits back end of next year. Not ideal but will keep things ticking over!

Congrats to her abd Ben first and foremost though!

I was also shocked when I knew she is almost 30, she looks younger than Britney.

She's arrived, congratulary Twitter messages from Frankie and Aaron Renfree!

Saturdays Twitter confirm it, she's called Aoife Belle Foden.

How does one pronounce that? Eefa?

Congratulations to the pair of them!

Google says yes.

I wondered why she only had 'Foden' as a surname and not 'Healey' then I realised that they're engaged.

Congrats to them! I saw Foden being interviewed after the rugby and he was excited for her arrival.

I love that name, I have a friend called Aoife! It did confuse me when I saw how it was spelt for the first time though, bit of a melon scratcher isn't it?

Congratulations to her anyway.

Aoife is a horrible name! The spelling is hideous.
