True! Natasha blends so well with the classic theme, and Job's Coffin is lovely (as is each track), mainly because it's so accesible and frisky. Cactus Practice might be the most hookiest song on the album, I cannot get over the line
"It's time to induct you into, the drink of the cactus practice - Cactus... Practice" Love it! I have just read one bad review on the involvement of Tash... it went something like "Tori sounds like her lifeless, old piano teacher".
The lyrics to this album are different from her past material in some ways, I can't put words on it yet, but I'll try and figure it out.
In my opinion Tori can be personal in her songwriting and vocal delivery, in a way that makes you connect with that same grand scheme or creation. The dimension that is waiting for us
backstage, a shadow as we need to step into after we endured everyday-situations, when we finally find time to get out from all the roles of interaction, and when we are allowed to reflect
"Am I always adopting roles to secure myself? When am I my own?", in solitude. Something.......
