YESSSSS!!!!
Actually, most of the stuff we've linked you to are her 2000s stuff. Her voice is pretty much the same... it just varies from song to song.

Now that we've gotten past the introduction, you need to see some of her live performances (via Youtube of course  ).Watch any of these & tell me what you think.

- Black Cat (Live VMAs 1990)
- That's The Way Love Goes/If (VMAs 1993)
- Got Till It's Gone (Top Of The Pops 1998)
- I Get Lonely (Velvet Rope Tour)
- What About (VH1 Awards)
- All For You (MTV Icon 2001)
- Trust a Try (All For You Tour)
- Nasty/So Excited (Oprah 2006)
- Scream (VMAs 2009)
Photoshoot fresh... I'm about to call the paparazzi on myself.

I'm slowly getting myself listening to several 80's artists I know so many people who love while they've barely registered on my radar due to lack of US success (well OMD had a really big soundtrack hit in 1986 here that is unrepresentative of their bigger and more influential UK hits)

Orchestral Manoevers In The Dark
Siouxsie And The Banshees
The Smiths

I love those from the album Architecture & Morality:

She's Leaving
Souvenir
Joan Of Arc
..and especially Joan Of Arc (Maid Of Orleans)

Apart from that, So In Love, If You Leave (from the soundtrack you mentioned?) and Enola Gay are good to start with. I use to buy whole albums and went with A. & M. because that's the most rewarding.

The Police only had five albums, each one was arguably bigger than the one before it before they imploded in 1984 and Sting went solo. Synchronicity is probably their best album, their last album that had Every Breath You Take, King Of Pain and Wrapped Around Your Finger. All five albums are worth checking out, and their discography is small enough that it doesn't require too much investing.

a tie between Parallel Lines and Eat To The Beat. Their debut is more 60's throwback and Plastic Letters is their "punk" album, PL/ETTB are both pop masterpieces, even though Eat does have a few heavier tracks but its also the album that has "Dreaming", "Atomic" and "Union City Blue".

I really want to get more dark hard electronic music. I have a lot of it from Japanese artists but I really want English artists.

Like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozNSfblpzHA

Btw preferably female vocalists  Anyone got any suggestions to try out? (btw I have like Skrillex, Nero etc. but I was looking for more artists that do it not just producers with artists featuring)

I know you like pop-country so you might like some of Olivia's earlier pre-Grease tracks where she was more of a country ballad artist, then of course she had the big pop years culminating with Grease, Xanadu and Physical. Best place to start would be "The Definitive Collection" or "Magic: The Very Best Of Olivia Newton-John" as both are collections that cover extensively both eras and have the biggest hits. If you just want one album, go for "Physical". Although the title track was overplayed and is seen as campy and cliche, the entire album was her bid at pure pop and anyone who liked Madonna's 1980's music or Cyndi Lauper or the like would enjoy it.

Debbie's solo stuff isn't as instant as Blondie, go for Def, Dumb And Blonde for her strongest solo work, a very underrated album. Rockbird has some great singles (French Kissin' In The USA, the SAW produced In Love With Love) but is a very forgettable album outside of the two big hits.

Ace Of Base: I still kinda enjoyed their Happy Nation album from start to finish recently. It was fresh. Get the US Version with The Sign and Don't Turn Around. Other highlights from this album are the title track, All That She Wants, Wheel Of Fortune, but basically every track is good. So for me it is really only this one album to go for. Apart from that, I only love and really really adore that one: Beautiful Life. Its such a fast and happy song in the chorus but with very sad tunes in the verses. And apart from that they bored me a lot with bad cover versions.
