It's because this song is still amazing like on the first listen.
There are hundreds of songs you like at first but quickly lost interest.
I already know Jar Of Hearts for nearly 1 year but I still enjoy listening to it and I wouldn't say this about a lot of songs that were released around that time.

Though I must confess that it's getting serious competition by Rasmus Seebach's Calling.

We'll see next week if it stays at No. 1 or if Jar Of Hearts returns... Or perhaps we are going to have a new No. 1?
A hot candidate will be Rihanna's We Found Love but I'll wait listening to it as long as possible because in the past, I felt like spoiling when listening to the "hot" songs way before the music video is released or the album's out... It's feeling way better to buy the album and put it in the CD player without having heard anything of it before... Way more exciting!

But back to Jar Of Hearts: I'm sure it'll spend a lot of time on my chart and it's one of the best tracks this year... I hope it'll win loads of awards 8-)

I just can't deal with it and do not understand why it's so extremely hyped here like it's the next "Thriller" or something...

i agree Timmy. i had it in my chart for 2 weeks (if i remember correctly) and i only spin this like once every 2-3 days now. sometimes it's all about the hype.. the hype around Lena for example made me a fan for a month or so.

At the beginning of last week, it seemed like Calling would stay at No. 1 but in the last few days, radios began playing Jar Of Hearts and so it turned out that it's able to climb back to No. 1

.
The radio support is strange as the song hasn't been released so far and it's not even known if it ever does in Germany...
But why not :lol:

You And I is really steadily going upwards, we'll see if it's good enough to reach the top 3 :wink:

Several songs climbed this week, mainly due to a lack of serious competition: This week's highest debut is at No. 30.
But there'll come new songs early enough so we shouldn't worry :wink:

I haven't heard most songs on your chart, and so glad to see JOH on #1, Arms is also good, I wonder why don't you place it on your chart too?

Which songs haven't you heard yet?
It's because I haven't completely heard Arms yet.
I only heard a like 10 second snippet from it when it charted on the Billbard Hot 100: I regularly watch the weekly Billboard Hot 100 videos on You Tube (they are from Billboardgoddess and Penalty Killah if you're interested).
I never heard the full song because if someday the album is out here, I wanna get into the song than and not already know it and so it wouldn't be a surprise anymore.
