they were in the uk charts at no. 39 on Jan 01, 2000 so since there were no charts for me prior to 1st of Jan, i added all the songs in the top 75 (incl. John Lennon's Imagine & Queen's Under Pressure, though the latter didnt make the top 40)

this is just so that i give every song as much of a chance, as long as it charted in the UK (Re-entries included)

Thanks, your charts are very similar with my charts in this period. Nostalgia. Glad to see another fan of UK pop music. Years between 1997 - 2003 were gold era in UK pop.

Yeah, S Club was like my fave band at the time, I was always home early from school to watch their TV show hahah! but glad to see you liked what's happening on the change, though I agree the new entries aren't really anything to call home about! hope that changes soon, though!

@Shorty: Wow really glad you're satisfied with the results of this chart! I'm so happy to have a loyal fan in you, really makes this all the more worthwhile

@AlexZ: hmm, i really should check those out, but Born To Make You Happy actually debuts in the next chart, so you'll just have to see how well it does!

But yeah, some of the double singles were seperated (eg. Robbie Williams' It's Only Us / She's The One), but for others I just thought it would take too much place, and they really fell into the same slot for me (like S Club 7, Westlife & Steps)

expect the next chart in about 2-3 hours time

These charts really represent my music taste, cos I'm a pop lover through and through. You'll definitely see me comment on each chart, you'll probably get sick of me :lol:

As for the chart:

Big woo for Britney at #1! BTMYH is one of my favourite songs by her and easily the best on her first album. It's so beautiful.

Good to see S Club 7, Robbie and Christina stay top ten, and to see Five not fall too far

Yay for Madison Avenue debuting, yet another fantastic track. One of my fave dance songs that is still pop.

Also nice to see Atomic Kitten staying where they are, and that Point Break only fell one place :lol:

I also have 20 out of the 40 songs on the chart on my iTunes. That hardly ever happens :lol:
