You know I'm a Kate Bush maniac, but can you see why I often come to think of You're The One from The Red Shoes, when listening to the o-u-t-s-t-a-n-d-i-n-g- Revelations? Different lyrics of course, but the music is quite similar, twin sister songs. With a twist!

Hmmmm...I'm not sure, I'll have to listen to them later on and see. I like Revelations but it's far from being a favourite, the lyrics are it's strong point, I think I prefer the reworked version featuring Peaches. :D

Don't be sad Dan baby! I'm glad you are still listening to Yoko! :D What have you heard from her Yoko thus far? Also I really love the lyrics from 'Revelations' but it's far from being a Yoko fave for me personally! However I'm glad it's had an impact on you. 8-)

Also have you read my PM?

Yes, I've seen your PM - I'm just very busy these days, working long days etc. Will return to you when I have time! ;)

Revelations is my favourite so far with Yoko, with I Will I, Rising & Goodbye My Love + Walking On Thin Ice ( aaa aa aa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aa aa aa)

Yes, the lyrics are brilliant, but I also love the music in that one. I'm an old-school fellow! I'm still listening alot to Rising, you know, I listen alot to an album before I move on to the next, the next being your favourite! The universe album! 8-)

Oh, and by the way!

Later, in the end of july I will be travelling to the south of Sweden, to a museum in Wanås Slott were Yoko is presenting her art this summer (not in person).

But I look forward to go there and really study her art. I'm so excited over this!!!!!!! :D

Look

8-) Ok, interested for your thought son Nina. :D

Well 'the universe album' is a semi favourite, I can't actually pick a favourite! As I've said before it's between that one and Rising!

I watched her Mad About You episode from 1995 as it was on Antenna TV earlier this week (I'd seen it years ago), I honestly thought she should've had her own sitcom as she had excellent comedic timing.

Loved that cameo by Yoko! She's really funny, in her own kind of way.

I am currently addicted to the last 4 tracks on Blueprint For A Sunrise..

1. I'm Not Getting Enough
2. Mulberry
3. I Remember Everything
4. Are You Looking For Me?

Mulberry topped my chart some weeks ago, I'm Not Getting Enough peaked at #2 for 3 weeks. Go Yoko! 8-)

Has anyone seen Yoko's movie from 1965, Satan's Bed?

I Netflixed it once many years ago, lets say the only reason its even been released on DVD is because of her, it's baaaaaaaaaad.

I got my money back today from a Swedish online store, they explained that they could'nt find either Rising or the Universe albums and referred to eBay. I've been waiting for them to arrive for over a month now!

I own Rising digitally only.

Is this verison of Walking On Thin Ice the same as the version on "Yes, I'm A Witch"?

Sad to hear your trouble, the cd's aren't available she needs to reissue them asap!! :x Really happy you love Yoko, she gets so much negativity on here! :(

Yoko attends BMI London awards
MusicWeek, Wednesday October 5, 2011

Yoko Ono made a surprise appearance at BMI’s annual London awards and dinner last night as John Lennon’s Woman was honoured with 4 million US radio plays.

Little known fact, in 1990 Yoko did a Janet-esque cover of her husband's "Love". I know some Lennon fans would scream sacrelige at the thought of her giving a new jack spin on one of John's most poignant tracks but I think it works http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XizXLFZqOho

does anyone else think the female vocalist of Arcade Fire sounds just like Yoko? And the funny thing is I know people who love them that loathe Yoko.

Yoko will always be underrated for the known reasons, but I think she's really creative, unique and great artist.

I admit that part of what got me interested in her was this AOL Message Board troll from the late 90's called YokoDiva. He/she used to troll all these message boards and preach the gospel of Yoko, and even lots of inaccurate information (she sold more albums than The Beatles, she has more US #1 singles than Mariah, Madonna and Elvis combined, etc...) that it totally piqued my interest and made me a fan
