German Hot 40 by Charter2000

This is the first chart I'm posting here and no, it's not my personal Top 40

I call this chart the "German Hot 40" because i wanted to create a chart for Germany according to the model of the Billboard Hot 100 or the "United World Chart" by Mediatraffic. A chart based on a sales/airplay mix.

If you're interested in the German Singles Chart, you know that there's the problem that in general songs are only able to chart after an official single release. The advantage of this chart is that every song is able to chart if it is available as a download or CD or receives enough airplay.

Every song gets points according to sales/airplay and is listed if the number of points is high enough, similar to the UWC.

I create this chart since week 46/2010 and if somebodies interested, i can post issues of the last months, too.
