Brand new single from upcoming International album!

Helena Is Back and with a brand new single - Mr Perfect.

The track was recorded last week and contains the lyrics -
You don’t gotta be the man with the most
But If you want me i need you to know
You don’t have to be, you don’t have to be Mr perfect
But u better be close

Maybe I’m crazy for aiming so high
I need you to prove
that you are my guy
You don’t have to be, you don’t have to be Mr perfect
But u better be close

It was also announced the video will be shot this week and the track released in December.

She's also rumoured to have a performance of the song in a few weeks on Dancing On Ice, on which she is judging at the moment in Greece.

Finally - after Baby It's Over - Paparizou is back and she's going International.

The album is expected to drop in Quarter 1 of 2012.

she's going International? :-? how? She didn't bother to promote or release the song abroad (not even in Sweden).

Baby It's Over could have been a huge hit, it's a shame. I wonder why she keeps releasing English songs in Greece since they are not released in Europe.

Anyway, it's good sign that Popjustice mentioned her :D

She's "going" (not "gone") international. In the first quarter of 2012. The new song hasn't been released anywhere yet

they keep saying the same shit since Mambo! and "The Game of Love" era. She got great reviews for "baby It's over" and they missed the chance to have a European hit.

No, she hasn't tried to enter Melodifestivalen, she doesn't want to take part in Eurovision as a singer.

I wish she was the host of Melodifestivalen or at least to perform as an interval act.

I would say she is swedish-greek (or greek-swedish, whatever).
Right now she are not so famous in Sweden, but in Greece she is..

But she is trying a swedish comeback:

(There are english translation, just click the button "CC". For you non-swedish speakers. I guess 99,9%. If not 100%. :P)

As you said, only Swedish tabloids wrote about a possible participant of Helena in MF... just rumours every year

She has clearly said that she doesn't want to take part in Eurovision as a singer.

She's the child of Greek immigrants to Sweden. Her ex-band Antique became famous by essentially singing covers of well-known Greek songs. At the first possible opportunity, she resettled in Greece. I'd say she's very Greek

Well, if we only looks on ethnic. Then she is Greek. But there can be other factors too. :P

And in the interview I linked to youtube. She says that she maybe would want to be a songwriter, or something like that. Now that is not happening 2012 anyhow.

But I still hopes that she is working on a swedish comeback. :D

She lived in Greece for one year or something when she was very young. With a relative. Beacuse she had problems with breathing when it was winter.

She grew up in Sweden (exception above..) and it is why she can speak Swedish with no problems. :)

But I really, really want to hear this new song. :D

Wrong. She's still in Greece working. Actually, she makes more money here than in Sweden.

Helena is currently a judge on "Dancing On Ice". Personally, i think she should have chosen a different show to be a judge (eg. Just the Two of Us) or just promote "Baby It's Over" in Europe. It's time to move on and leave Greece.

That's not correct. She didn't grow up in Greece/Karditsa, but her family/relatives are from that place.

I wouldn't call Despina Vandi a big name now, but she used to be.
