Enjoy it pal! I'll join you in the gaming right after my exam.

I know that things must change over time, and all that, but I'm quite worried that we won't see Epona in this game!

Yeah thanks ;). Good luck :).

I doubt, that we will see Epona in Skyward Sword. There are birds as pets. But who knows...

I usually see GameSpot's reviews before playing a game. Their score for "Skyward" is so low. They gave it just a 7.5. :-? The score is good and they say it's a great game, but I'm afraid it isn't as epic as I imagined.

That's one of the few reviews which have given it a lower score! I have not played the game yet, so I can't say it's amazing, but I always trust IGN's reviews. Have you started playing Skyward Sword?

Have you read/seen theirs? Here it is if you want to watch:

Quota gone for a bit! I read that review, this part stood out!

Those yearning for something new will be disappointed, but anyone thirsty for another exciting adventure will find plenty to enjoy here.

I want another exciting adventure, a game doesn't have to be revolutionary to be great! ;)

That's true!

Most of the reviews I've read have stated the opposite, that this game feels very new, but still maintaining the spirit of Zelda. Do they have to change the main character and exclude the bow/arrow, boomerang, bombs and all the dungeons/temples to make it feel new or what? :-?

 at you rushing back here! How cute.

I'm really pumped for this game, I was so naughty earlier and watched the intro scene to the game, a big black monster type thing in the forest, looked interesting... :o 8-)

WOW! That's huge! The Zelda series is still alive! Here's some info on the sales of Twilight Princess:

In the PAL region, which covers most of Asia, Africa, South America, Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific and most of Western Europe, Twilight Princess is the best-selling Zelda game ever. During its first week, the game was sold with three of every four Wii purchases. The game had sold 4.52 million copies on the Wii as of March 1, 2008, and 1.32 million on the GameCube as of March 31, 2007.
Wonder how much it has sold now, and if SS can surpass those numbers!? I am also getting this game soon, as I'm still too busy with my studies, and I just know this game will make me lose all focus on that! :)

Just to write some updates about my play time with Skyward Sword.

Yeah, it took me over a month now and i'm not done, yet. Though i have to say, that i'm not a hardcore gamer, because i haven't that much time.

To strengthen my defense, i've (SPOILER) faught some bosses via the Thunder Dragon, (Whom i've met through my adventure) to get the Hylia Shield as a reward (Not necessarily, but it makes fun, and the shield is amazing) in order to face the final boss. Right now, im challenging the final boss. Damn it's really hard. But i will do it, i know that!

Thanks for those numbers abcd123! Great sales! So happy that the Zelda series continue to do well!

trhuthless!!! I've been so curious to follow your way through this game, but I have not bought it yet, I'm expecting it as a christmas gift though! ;)

Did not read anymore after the Spoiler alert, but saw the last line.. so the game is hard?

Haha. Nice to hear that :D.

Well. It is in my opinion. The bosses are not the only problem. As every Zelda game, you have to use your own (or let's say overuse ) brain to go on with each level/area. There was an area, where i had really NO clue what to do lmao. After a few hours, i've finally figured out what to do next

I pretty much died 2-3 times at the first boss. I didnt know, how to use my sword correctly, as you have to breakthrough it's defense and tactic. Though the first boss is my favourite one. He's really entertaining in a evil and funny way. Such a crazy guy. Really a character with many twists. You should be concerned about him.

And as the game goes on, you will like the graphic more and more. The last fight's graphic is awesome. Such an epic fight with the final boss honestly^^. But just like i said, it's probably the hardest one in the game. So let's see, and i can't wait to defeat the final boss. But i'm already sad, that it will be over after that.

But i'm also happy about the hero mode after defeating the final boss.

Also, i can't wait to see what happens after the defeat of the final boss. What will happen to Link and Zelda? Will they even come together? :o

Daaaamn it's really exciting, as i'm almost at the end.

DAMN YOu!!  Makes me so excited!!! As you know I've just finished Link's Awakening which in my opinion includes a lot of really complicated puzzles and riddles - in the temples especially - something that I did not feel about Twilight Princess or Wind Waker.

Also happy to see that the difficulty is higher here, usually you just go out on a rampage killing everything easily.

I will remember that whenever I reach the first boss! I'll post a lot in this thread when I've started playing! :D

HERO MODE!!! Like the Master Quest in Ocarina or the Second Adventure in the very first game?! Awesome!! :D

But one month sounds so little... especially when you say that you don't play that much? It will probably take longer for me, as I love to explore everything 50.000 times. Even a little rock or a bush!

Haha :D. But let's see^^. You could make it faster, who knows?

Yeah there is a mode called hero mode. As far as i know, the hero mode is about starting new with the game again. But it's way harder. Who knows if something is different, i don't know yet.

Yeah can't wait to read your opinion hah :D. Yeah, one month isnt that much honestly. But yeah, i know some guys who played this game in a few days :o. I call them freaks :P. Yeah and it's better to give yourself a little bit time, to discover everything. I still have not managed to get all heart pieces lol. It's not that easy to find them. :)

Sinnec!! We're two completely different players, I was not kidding when I wrote that I love exploring the same spots and locations several times.. and make up stories in my head.

thruthless:

Finding all the heart-pieces without a walkthrough/guide is not an easy task. The only games where I've not managed to find all where in Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess. So tell us about the fighting techniques? Is it much harder than in earlier games where you just slash through your enemies, or do you really have to study them and strike in the right time/place? Sounds interesting.

Actually it can be pretty accurate, so accurate that sometimes can be frustrating if you don't move the wii-mote exactly as you're supposed to and you will miss the opportunity to hit the enemy. And that's really interesting. You have to study each enemy's pattern and hit him at the right time and spot. So cool. And it's a lot less dark than Twilight Princess.
