Anyone else not think this is the right time? Feb is actually pretty soon and no singles at this point, the mainstream media have had a bit of an over saturation of Minaj lately? I think she should've left it til Summer for people to grow some more thirst for a follow up, this isn't of such great taste IMO unless it is just a small album to keep people until the actual sophomore record.

I will never understand why people think you need to make the public wait. If the music is good then strike while the iron is hot.

But I liked RapUpPlayer explanation about this being like a sequel to Pink Friday album since that name is bascially a brand now. So happy it's a brand new album though

Agree it's a bad idea to recycle the album title, why do that? I hope we get some more great commercial tracks like "Super Bass".

I'm looking forward to this though.As someone said in the previous page, Bangladesh, Swizz Beatz & Alex Da Kid need to be on this.

J.R.Rotem's stale production ruined a good chunk of Pink Friday for me.

I agree with everyone else about the album title.
I'm hoping for an even split of hip-hop orientated rap tracks and commercial pop ones, Pink Friday has some amazing songs on it but it had too much bubblegum fluff on it for me.

Back onto what sort of music people want from this album, while I would also like some more "Super Bass" tracks, what I really REALLY would like is more edgy hip hop freestyle-esque tracks like Massive Attack, Muny, Itty Bitty Piggy, Monster..etc...

It’s finally happened. Nicki Minaj has her own Barbie doll. Mattel has immortalized the Pink Friday raptress in plastic with a limited edition doll.

Billboard reports that Mattel will auction off the one-of-a-kind creation at CharityBuzz.com starting on December 7. The doll, which borrows its look from Nicki’s Pink Friday album cover, will be on display at Divine Design’s five-day gala at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. Bidders can take a shot at owning their very own Barbie until December 19, with bids starting at $1,000.
