Believe it or not, the woman in the picture above is 72! She looks FAB!! to her age. I can totally picture Mariah being 72 and looking as good as her. She's a very well-known veg.

I think the hair makes her more youthful. Another haircut and she'd look closer to her age, as a lot of older women usually go for more conservative shorter haircuts as they get a certain age.

I agree with you. Makeovers can do miracles, but sometimes the biggest change is in the hair. It's like the "frame" of the picture (face)

Dwayne Hickman also sold his soul for eternal youth. He looked 20 until he was about 35 (this hurt him from getting work because he was still playing college students in his 30's), looked 40 until he was about 65. Now he's 77 and looks about 55.
