Ladyhawke has been busy recording her new album "Anxiety" this summer in South-France, which is the follow-up to hear 2008 self-titled debut. Anxiety is set for a March 19 release.

She said it's more rock-based and less synthy. Some of her remixes of other acts have been a pointer to a possible sound.

Saw that picture on her website a few days ago and thought it was rather good!!

Now we find it's the album cover :D

Wonder if this is Sarah Larnach's work?? After all she did a lot of this for the last album (including the My Delerium video)

Loved her last album so much, a shame to hear this is not as synth based but I guess there has to be some progression and that sound is very 2/3 years ago now. Looking forward to new material anyway!

Yup, according to the official newsletter, it is! :D It's great news I guess, I really liked her artworks in the previous era.

Still 2 months to go but on ITunes you can hear 1:30 of each track :D :D (well UK at least), I just couldn't resist listening (I can't wait 2 months   )

Sunday Drive does stand out for me, Vanity is one odd track

Overall the snippets are mostly really good!! Very promising indeed
