By the way, I'm not sure if some of you even have time to reply thisDrake and Justin Bieber are teaming up in 2012. The pop superstars have set aside some time at the top of next year to work on Bieber’s third album Believe.
During his appearance at Stevie Wonder’s House Full Of Toys benefit concert in Los Angeles on Saturday night, Drake shared the news. “Me and [Justin] are going in the studio in January to work on his new album, so I’m excited about that,” the Young Money rapper told the crowd of screaming fans.
He also praised his fellow Canadian, who he shared the stage with the night before at Cali Christmas. “That’s definitely gotta be one of the most talented kids doing music right now,” he added.
In a previous interview with Capital FM, Bieber announced that Drake and Kanye West were among the contributors to his album. “I’m working with a lot of cool people. I’m working with Kanye. Drake is gonna work on the album with me and a lot of different artists,” he said.

I want more songs in the vein of "That Should Be Me" and "Somebody To Love". My World 2.0 was pretty good so I think he can pull of a My World 3.0 before it starts to get too redundant.abi wrote:By the way, I'm not sure if some of you even have time to reply this, but what direction do you want Justin to take with Believe?
Do you want him to stay making teen-Pop/R&B songs a.k.a. My World 3.0, or do you want him to take more R&B/Soul sounds just like Under The Mistletoe, or even mix it with more Rap/Hip-Hop influences as he's been rapping a lot lately?
I want him to take to a more R&B/Hip-Hop route though I definitely can see the Chris Brown comparison will be getting heavier. A few Dance/Pop songs would be cool though to keep the mainstream audience.
Why? He'll finally have an excuse to sound just like Chris Brown...Loveguru wrote:He needs a less pop Album!!
This! I don't like his music per se, but I do think he had some okay songs. He still has a lot to work on (vocals, personality, finding a sound etc). But hey he's still young. I'm actually pretty curious to see what the future holds for Bieber...urbanmusik wrote:LOL at this thread.
I don't like his music, but it'll be interesting to see how he progresses as he gets older. Hopefully he'll ditch the safe songs and do something really unexpected.
Chris Brown was never this pop. I think he needs an album in the vein of his lead single from his xmas album because that stripped backness was hotTitan3510 wrote:Why? He'll finally have an excuse to sound just like Chris Brown...Loveguru wrote:He needs a less pop Album!!
Justin needs to develop his own style and he needs to embrace the fact that his voice is changing...without auto-tune.
But I am very intrigued to see what he does with Kanye...very intrigued.
This statement is wrong on SO many levels. He doesn't make pure R&B or Hip Hop, so he won't make it "hot." Usher's already doing that. And for the more crossover type of sound, he's already got Bey and Rihanna light years ahead... as well as CB and Ne Yo.Mike_54 wrote:This is going to be massive.... I think that this will be his biggest project yet, and he will finally make stable guy fanbase!!
He defintley needs this time to pull chart success with his singles, and somehow I expect that to happen... and not only that I hope that he will make urban and r'n'b music hot again.. at this point I think he is only one that can do that.. I'm also glad that he said that there will not be dance and house sounds on his album!
btw. he also worked with Will I Am a couple of days ago...
