All the negativity is ridiculous! I personally think he's a great talent.
It's not a case of him going away. It's quite easy not to listen to someone you despise so much - change the channel, change the station, just generally avoid him - it's pretty easy!

Drake and Justin Bieber are teaming up in 2012. The pop superstars have set aside some time at the top of next year to work on Bieber’s third album Believe.

During his appearance at Stevie Wonder’s House Full Of Toys benefit concert in Los Angeles on Saturday night, Drake shared the news. “Me and [Justin] are going in the studio in January to work on his new album, so I’m excited about that,” the Young Money rapper told the crowd of screaming fans.

He also praised his fellow Canadian, who he shared the stage with the night before at Cali Christmas. “That’s definitely gotta be one of the most talented kids doing music right now,” he added.

In a previous interview with Capital FM, Bieber announced that Drake and Kanye West were among the contributors to his album. “I’m working with a lot of cool people. I’m working with Kanye. Drake is gonna work on the album with me and a lot of different artists,” he said.
By the way, I'm not sure if some of you even have time to reply this  , but what direction do you want Justin to take with Believe?

Do you want him to stay making teen-Pop/R&B songs a.k.a. My World 3.0, or do you want him to take more R&B/Soul sounds just like Under The Mistletoe, or even mix it with more Rap/Hip-Hop influences as he's been rapping a lot lately?

I want him to take to a more R&B/Hip-Hop route though I definitely can see the Chris Brown comparison will be getting heavier. A few Dance/Pop songs would be cool though to keep the mainstream audience.

I usually like his singles but his albums have done nothing for me so far. Under The Mistletoe however is a great Christmas album.

LOL at this thread.

I don't like his music, but it'll be interesting to see how he progresses as he gets older. Hopefully he'll ditch the safe songs and do something really unexpected.

I want more songs in the vein of "That Should Be Me" and "Somebody To Love". My World 2.0 was pretty good so I think he can pull of a My World 3.0 before it starts to get too redundant.

Why? He'll finally have an excuse to sound just like Chris Brown...

Justin needs to develop his own style and he needs to embrace the fact that his voice is changing...without auto-tune.

But I am very intrigued to see what he does with Kanye...very intrigued.

 at my words being quoting somany times and    at the people getting mad. Get over it.

Personally, I don't hate him and his music isn't that bad but I feel like he's overexposed. I don't think people can deny that he's talented though.

This! I don't like his music per se, but I do think he had some okay songs. He still has a lot to work on (vocals, personality, finding a sound etc). But hey he's still young. I'm actually pretty curious to see what the future holds for Bieber... :)

He's trying to be more urban now? Oh god. This is going to be embarrassing.

Or it could be really good. Im not sure which yet. I dont like anything hes done (my sister plays his albums all the time) but I wont deny hes got some nice vocals, although as hes aged theyve gotten worse and worse. I also dont like his personality at all, from whats been shown.

Who knows though.

Chris Brown was never this pop. I think he needs an album in the vein of his lead single from his xmas album because that stripped backness was hot

Justin Bieber Skates with Lil Wayne, Records with Timbaland

Image

Lil Wayne gave Justin Bieber some skating tips when he caught up with him in Miami. With skateboard in hand, the teen sensation hit the ramp with the Young Money chief in between recording his upcoming album Believe.

“Good time in the studio last night,” tweeted the Biebs. “Back at it tonight. oh yeah…and big bro came thru.”

While he didn’t say if he and Weezy had collaborated, Timbaland has been in the studio with the pop idol. “yo @justinbieber played me some of his joints last nite, craziee. the dude is super talented & our work ethics are just alike. #hitsondeck,” tweeted Timbo.

Drake and Kanye West are also among the contributors to Bieber’s sophomore album, due later this year.

This is going to be massive.... I think that this will be his biggest project yet, and he will finally make stable guy fanbase!!

He defintley needs this time to pull chart success with his singles, and somehow I expect that to happen... and not only that I hope that he will make urban and r'n'b music hot again.. at this point I think he is only one that can do that.. I'm also glad that he said that there will not be dance and house sounds on his album!

btw. he also worked with Will I Am a couple of days ago...

Okay, everybody that keeps quoting hate without discussion needs to be banned.

The dude can sing. The dude makes tween pop music - if you're in your 20s, it's NOT SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD OR APPEALING!

The dude is shifting millions of albums around the world and it appears people are avoiding the obvious:

1. The dude's music had to be poppier - he is a teen, POP sensation

2. He's getting older and, therefore, will try to appeal to broader and more mature audience. His mentor and "discoverer" is Usher (King of R&B). It was only natural that his sound would get more "R&B-ish."

3. He's sold more albums that some others named in this thread and his others whose "sound he's trying to replicate." He has no reason to replicate another's sound. His has already helped him to outsell them, out tour them and net more $$$.

I'm looking forward to this project and, hopefully, his music will finally appeal to me as an adult. The kid can sing, like he can really sing. It's not his fault that his voice is going through the "growing up stage." I just hope he doesn't go through it for 6 years like Chris Brown  And I hope he doesn't continue trying to mask it with auto-tune (he's not T Pain).
"Take A Bow"... Rihanna's ONLY ballad to go #1 on the Hot 100 (also topped the R&B Chart)... Great deed for her most epic ballad!!!

This statement is wrong on SO many levels. He doesn't make pure R&B or Hip Hop, so he won't make it "hot." Usher's already doing that. And for the more crossover type of sound, he's already got Bey and Rihanna light years ahead... as well as CB and Ne Yo.

hmm he wasn't making r'n'b and hip hop, but I'm talking about next album...and in first place I just said i'm HOPING but anyway...

List of people that he worked for this album(that we know of) are ALL from rnb/hip-hop music plus a lot of stuff(if not all) that he is doing latley are urban and he is doing hip-hop pretty often....And he himself said that he is staying out of sound that is popular right now so... Also I'm happy beacuse he said that he worked with a lot of people from underground scene for this album and that he is bringing definetly something new...

All of the pepople that you did mention(Rihanna,Usher, Chris Brown, NE-Yo) went on dance vagon to keep themself relevent...Rihanna has like only one urban hit from each album(that's why I'm hoping TTT will become big as YD1 failed).. Plus I don't know why did you mention Beyonce when she failed to make any impact with her last album...
